Reviews for Gor Gai Thai Eatery in San Diego, CA
I fell in love with coconut soup ???? its just delicious ???? its little spicy but still yummy
Friendly service. Wait time was acceptable. Food was delicious! Especially liked how I was asked for the desired spiciness level... (1-10). I got just the right heat on my order. Read more
I live in 4S ranch and have never been here so I figured why not. Well I guess it will be my one and only time. The food wasn't... terrible but it wasn't good either. They were so busy the kids working there were scrambling around. The phone was ringing offthe hook and there were so many takeout orders ready It was crazy. I placed my order over the phone and when I got home Irealized they gave us the wrong protein. We asked for chicken and got shrimp.... Again I think it's a little overpriced for thequality of the food. There are way better tie options close by, But I'm sure this place would do in a pinch. Read more
Absolutely love the food!!! However they drastically cut down the serving size- when I ordered the curry yesterday. The... container was 1/2 full. When spoke to the manager- got to the know that that was their serving size. I order food From therepretty much every week. It is usually 3/4 full. So felt a bit disappointed ???? Read more
What a wonderful find for Thai food! Our group of four were delighted with each of our dishes. The vegetables were fresh, and... the dishes extremely flavorful! The young lady who took our orders was warm and friendly, and the service was fast. We willdefinitely be returning! Read more
It was good. Fried rice is very delicious. And when the weather is good, you can use the outdoor table right in front of you.... There is 5 small table inside. So, I think it's better to take it home than to eat at a restaurant. Read more
Edit number two: removed two stars for consistently adding severely unripe mangos to the mango sticky rice. The sticky rice is... delicious, but why do you keep allowing unripe mangos to go out the door? This last one had the texture of a crisp apple. Edit:They have definitely gotten past their original wait times from when they first opened! I would say average wait for a call inorder is 10-15 minutes now. Food is great, and I no longer have an issue with the salt! Definitely the best Thai optionaround! Original: Great service, but long time (30 minutes) for a call in order. Food is really good, restaurant looks reallynice (although limited seating) and the food tastes great! Also prices are reasonable! Noodles are fresh, but I gave 4 starsbecause the meal was a little on the salty side, and I love salty food! Read more
The eggplant wasn?t good. It was very plain and blend sauce.
