Me and my husband are a fan of this place. Located in the heart of Gaslamp quarter. Perfect location. Cute looking brunch... destination. Always crowded. We waited around 25 min to get a table as it was the comic con weekend. We ordered their trioplatter and a sandwich with fresh orange juice. Everything was amazing. Read more
Mashed potatoes waffle anyone? The menu here has a little something for everyone from complete decadence to healthy breakfast... bowls. The server was very friendly and helpful in suggesting some things after she asked if I would like to hear them. After afew popular items she called out the mashed potatoes waffle with eggs, cheese sauce and sausage. Seriously, it was like Ifinally found a breakfast that I was really excited about. I also wanted to try one banana pancake which they use a specialbatter for separate from all their other pancakes. The mashed potatoes waffle was truly amazing, the perfect shape of a wafflebut the consistency of mashed potatoes! The cheese sauce is mild and not overpowering and the sausage is pretty mild on thespice level. I got my eggs over easy so the yolk mix was good as well in that plate of goodness. The banana pancake was reallytasty as well. I could have done without the dollop of cream cheese glaze as the batter and candied nuts with syrup was perfecton their own. Super relaxing beautiful view as soon as I sat down was greeted by a great young waitress. She was on point. I went over the... menu and I wanted so many different things but I set my mind on the California Burrito and I wasn?t disappointed. Fabulous! Theflavors complimented each other perfectly. Five Star ?? you won?t be dissatisfied Its a must for breakfast. Everyone seems tooffer a breakfast burrito but these people do it really well. Read more
Really enjoyed our breakfast! It was all delicious. The Breakfast Company flight was awesome and a great way to try different... flavors. The Veggie Scramble was full of flavor and the jam with the bread was hard to beat! It is definitely popular, so goearly or plan for a possible wait. Read more

I'm glad I visited twice, the first time was a 2 star review at best. We sat outside the first time and the service was really... bad, I ordered the seven grain bowl and it was also really, really bad. (Two others had the same and we all regretted it, don'tdo it!) The second time around, we sat inside and I had the vegan Benedict, such a different experience! My friend opted forreal eggs and looking back I should have done the same, but the faux eggs were fine other than the texture. Decor is cute,there's always a wait but it goes by pretty quickly.
