I had a really high hopes for this place, I?ve heard nothing but great things. But unfortunately I did not have the same... experience. The guy was really nice but the food quality was unacceptable. This two things were $20. The shrimp taco came with astale tortilla that was stiff. The sushi roll also came pre-seasoned with soy sauce which is unfortunate because it was entirelytoo salty, which I think was to mask the smell and poor taste. Overall do not recommend :( Read more

Amazing little beach hut in the middle of collage avenue. I was very excited to try this little spot. Not the kind of place you... want to go to when you are in a rush. Every plate I got was good quality, but the flavors were not all winners. Come for theatmosphere, ask details about everything on the menu before you order, and maybe even sign up for a sushi class. The food was alright, we ordered the pit poke bowl and the kimchi poke bowl to go. When I went to pick it up the kitchen... smelled bad and was a total mess. I almost didn't take the food based on that but the food looked fine so we took it home. Iliked that it was small and had cool vibes from the outside but no professional kitchen should look or smell like that. Read more

I tried this place on vacation while in San Diego and I wasn?t a huge fan at all. If you plan to visit know there is only... outdoor seating. On the day I went, there was only one person working, so I had to wait on the previous person food to be cookedbefore I could order. Once I ordered my food and took it to go, the food was okay. It was nothing that wowed me. I ordered atuna taco, a fish taco and a spicy tuna roll. The food was bland to me and lacked flavor. I won?t be back when I?m in San Diego. Read more

Loved the small, personal feel of this establishment. Had the Baja fish tacos, pine-apple rice topped with seared tuna,... California Roll, and Hawaiian Fire Roll. The food was excellent, and the service! The best way to describe it would be toimagine your best friend is a gourmet seafood and sushi chef, and they've invited you over to try their latest delicacies. Anever changing and evolving menu to keep you coming back. When you're in the area, or wanting to go for a drive, make a pit stopat the Fish Pit. I guarantee you'll be glad you did. Read more

Really tasty fish and veggie tacos, but super messy due to a ton of greens and sauces - made me feel healthier stuffing face... with tacos, but difficult to navigate into your mouth. Still delicious:) Read more

The food is delicious, the seafood is fresh, the staff is friendly, and the prices are decent. Limited parking and seating, so I... believe most will order and take-out. We ordered the nachos, traditional salmon poke, and two tacos. Read more
