Reviews for Elements Cafe/Culinary Savants in San Diego, CA
Love this place, too bad Rancho Bernardo Winery kicked them out when they were Cafe Merlot after 13 years of being there.
It was a cute cafe with outside seating. The food was delicious and fresh.
great chuces if hot and cold specials. i just had baked chicken, mashed, stuffing, side of one of the soups rather than the... veggie and fruit salad bar, rolls and butter, a cookie for desert, all delic, for $9! Read more
Seated at 7:00 PM at 7:15 my wife had to go into the kitchen area to ask if we could get some service. Our waitress came out 5... minutes later to take drink and food orders. 30 minutes later we had to go back into the kitchen area and ask for our drinks.Took 45 minutes to get our appetizers and our main dishes came out like 5 minutes later. I had finished my dinner before thewaitress had brought my salad. When I reminded her that I still haven't received my salad she said "the one without onionsright?" I said yes, 5 minutes later she put my salad in front of me full of onions! My ravioli was average and my salad wasfine. I would have rated 1 star but the salad dressing was very tasty. I will never go back and absolutely never recommend thisplace. The outdoor setting is very nice. There was live music that was great and the wine bar before our reservation was great. This review is strictly for Cafe Merlot. Read more
This is a hidden gem. Cute, cozy, and good food.
