Cute little spot for quick breakfast to-go eats. We had to wait a little bit for our food but it was worth it :) We ordered a... nitro cold brew, an eggies classic, and a California eggies sandwich. It was a little oily but nothing like napkins to blot itdown with. No big deal, it was still delicious. There were tables available to dine on. Again, great for a quick breakfasteats. Read more

Probably the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had. Service was sloooow, though. The "people" ahead of me wanted to stand around... having a conversation with the guy taking orders for about 10 minutes, which isn't his fault, but he was only too happy to standaround chit chatting while I waited, and waited... Anyway, I ordered the Classic and a Strawberry French Toast Jar. The sandwichwas stellar, but the jar had a definite spoiled-food taste, which was unfortunate considering it cost me ten bucks. Ordered a chilaquiles hot dog for lunch and I was NOT disappointed. The buns were two buttered sandwich slices (don't know what... kind of bread) instead of the traditional hotdog bun. I actually really liked this. The sausage was normal to me, nothing out ofthis world. However, when I had it with the chilaquiles, my taste buds where blown away! The chilaquiles sauce was on point andthe tortilla was perfectly fried. Overall, I would recommend trying this dish! I paid $10+ and felt I got a great portion forthe value. Read more

The average wait time is 25 to 30 minutes but my food was ready beforehand. Customer service was non-existent that day but I... came for the breakfast. The sandwich was really good the only thing that ruined it for me was a sausage was sweet. I wasn'tprepared for that but overall it was a good breakfast and I really enjoyed the fresh squeezed orange juice. Read more

I had the chicken egg sandwich and he had the classic. We both really enjoyed our food. The eggs were cooked just right. I saw... them breading the chicken right after I ordered it. It was a quick place for breakfast even though it was made to order. Greatservice. Spicy ketchup. Read more

I had the BLT yesterday and it was made to order with super fresh ingredients and tasted amazing! I also had a hash brown and... orange juice and both were really great. The service was wonderful and the atmosphere lively, plenty of outdoor setting. Read more

Eggies is full of egg puns. The menu, the counter, the food containers. All of it, covered in text that celebrates the humor of... eggs. Although I want to resist the temptation, sometimes the best laid plans often go awry, so I might not eggcel at this. Asa kid, I called eggs ?eggies,? therefore this place feels like it was created for me. Yes, they went through the pains of makinga menu, signage, setting up a business license, hiring employees, sourcing ingredients, and so much more just so I could stop inhere once and write this review. I?m that important. Shell we continue with this review? Service Admittedly could be faster, but let?s look at the sunny side (up). The people here are really knowledgeable and kind. They deal with overflow from TheBreakfast Republic next door, so I give them a pass for being a little scrambled. Food I got the classic sandwich as a combo. That means it comes with a hash brown and orange juice or coffee. The juice is fresh squeezed and it tempts you from behind thecounter as it whirls mesmerizingly. I got the cold brew coffee though because my brain was barely functioning and my morning wasnot going over easy. The coffee was strong and smooth. The egg sandwich was hearty and tasty. Atmosphere A little small, so youmight feel caged if you?re looking at the limited indoor seating but there?s also outdoor seating for those of you who want toget that free range experience. Price What you?d expect from downtown San Diego. There?s a premium that you?re paying. Omelettethis one fly. I?m sorry, okay? This review is almost over, and (t)hen you won?t have to read my puns anymore. Recommend? Yes,Eggies poached my tastebuds and my heart. Read more
