This place is a block away from where I work in the gaslamp quarter. I was intrigued because all over Germany (where I grew up)... you see doner kabob places. So I went here one day and they have these things on the menu called boxes. And what it is, is veryvery yummy french fries topped with either chicken, beef, gyro, or fried chicken. And these are little bitty servings. These arebig hearty servings that are put into a box and they have to tape the box closed so that it doesn't come open because there's somuch food inside. And then they also give you sauces. It comes with a hot sauce mix with tzatiki but I like to get the tahinisauce and mix it with tzatiki. Anyway, I've gone here several times and I know that I'm going to be going even more. My favoriteway to have it is with the chicken and gyro mixed together. My least favorite was the fried chicken. It didn't have a good tasteand it was very thin and kind of dry. This place is on point and the food is delicious. Read more

Kebab shop used to be our go to. And it's still good but man this place has the up and up on the chicken Schwarma. I had a beef... Doner box and my wife the chicken Schwarma plate. My Doner box was good but I didn't know it was a simple box. Aka fries andmeat. I had a kebab shop precedent. This is different, and as long as you know that, it's OK because the fries and meat are onpoint. Delicious. The. Fries. Are. Crispy. And. Sooo good. The beef is good too though it tasted like lamb. Didn't look likelamb. I guess I got the lamb cow. Anyways for me it was good. But the star is the chicken Schwarma. It is amazing. Tender andjuicy and just the right amount of chicken fattiness. The plate comes with rice, hummus and the green cilantro salad is reallygood. The sauces they give you (copiously I might add) are delicious. We got take out fyi. Anyways I'm going to eat my wife'sleftover chicken Schwarma now for breakfast. Read more
The food was pretty good, the hummus, gyro, and hot sauce were great, pita, tzatziki , and rice was just average- I was... disappointed that they were out of falafel (especially considering we were the only ones there so it’s not likely they hadjust run out and it’s listed as a best seller) and had no fries so you couldn’t order a Doner Box. Overall not bad, justprobably too pricey - a gyro plate wasn’t huge and ran 18$. Read more
