I went to the Del Taco downtown on 11 Avenue and to tell you that it was a good experience. I would be lying it was sorry and... it was nasty and the attitude of the people that worked there just as nasty as the food the French fries were limp and soggythe Burger was overstuffed and greasy and very nasty. what made it so bad is that the courtesy of the people working theresucks as well the manager is rude.also she did not appreciate me asking for fresh fries. Food was great! We only used the drive thru and it was slow. Must have been short handed. But they were friendly.
Rude cashier yelled at me for checking my name on a mobile order. I order on the app at this location all the time and the staff... usually recognizes me. They take forever because a lot of the people they have to deal with are shady characters off the street,so when I saw my order waiting on the counter with my name on it I figured I could grab it. The older blonde woman wearing amask quickly came over and told me off for looking at the order. She demanded my name and then checked it over herself beforehanding it right back to me. I don't appreciate the rude treatment and I'm sure she'll be happy to know I'm not coming back tothis location. I've been emptying my loyalty points on every order so I don't have a reason to go back anyways. Read more
Love del taco but this place was not the one to stop at. Super run down. The floor was gross. Dogs in the dinner area. I waited... at least 5 minutes before even being acknowledged. Once my order was finally taking the food was fast was all the tacos hadbroken shells. Most definitely could have been better. I found myself questioning going there when there are so many otherplaces close by. Oh, and it was not a cheap Del Taco as prices vary at different ones. Read more
I came here to get me and my teenage son a burrito. So I ordered (2) EPIC Avacado Burritos. They sure were epic. First off there... was NO Avacado on this burrito. Half the burrito was french fries, and the "Asada" ... There was NADA. The meat was way to saltyand I paid $15.00 - CASH for my burritos and over half of mine is going in the trash. Del Taco Prevayor of Mex-American food. Tacos, burritos and such. Overall the service was standard for fast food. Store was tidy... for the area but not great. Staff was friendly but assertive. The bad: A lot of riff- raff coming in and out for no reason.Homeless and the like standing in the store and in front of it. Need more policing in the neighborhood. While visiting San Diego, I stopped in to del taco to get the two tacos for $3. The location was convenient and the tacos were... good. It's a quick on-the-go inexpensive bite to eat. Staff was professional with a customer claiming to be the boss and wantedto use the bathroom. The staffer would not let him use the bathroom without a purchase. Read more
