My favorite stop after surfing Del Mar. Reasonably priced, good food, and chill vibes. And they give you heaping portions. I?m... not a huge eater but the Chix Fried Rice was massive and the chix tenders are enough for any healthy American. I thought thewaffles were a bit too sweet but that?s my preference. It?s good to go for the bar or dining. They don?t have traditionalservice but rather ordering at a counter and they run the food. I guess that?s where the chill vibes come from. Read more

Portions are beyond generous. The sandwiches are enough to feed two people. Good flavor. Their fries are a little over seasoned.... I had mind with Cajun seasoning. They were still good, but just slightly overboard on cajun. Overall, very good place and Iwould come back again. My only other criticism would be service: the place was not busy when we got there, and I felt theservice was slow. Also, the dishes came out one at a time, about a few minutes apart. I prefer a table's food to be served allat one so everyone's is hot. Read more

If you like chicken and you like beer/cocktails I don't think a better spot exists in Del Mar. The chicken is juicy and if you... like hot stuff the Thai Chili is spicy and tasty but it's not melt your mouth off hot like a habanero sauce would be. Thecocktails looked great, tasted even better. The big projector in the center and TV's are great for watching some sports. Servicewas great, guys and gals behind the bar were awesome and attentive. Read more

Come check this place out if you are a fan of wings & craft cocktails!!! I repeat!! I?ve been a customer at cross street since... the opening of their first location and honestly the dishes here at their new location in Del Mar are consistently deliciousjust like the convoy location. I love that they offer a full bar (super yummy cocktails) & great happy hour options. There areplenty of parking as well which is a plus. My go-to option is the Hot Chick Sandwich and lemon pepper wings! Read more

For starters we ordered wings -Garlic Soy and Garlic Parmesan- that was a great choice. I don?t recommend ordering Tater Tots,... it doesn?t worth the calories. Fried Chicken is their profession. Beers are a must here. The staff is polite and helpful, we hadto wait to get seated for about half an hour on Friday night. I would recommend making a reservation. The vibe was cool. Read more

I am so excited that Cross Street has opened a location in Del Mar. Not that I minded driving to Convoy Street or the Windmill,... but having them so close is fantastic. My go-to item is getting their chicken wings with salt and pepper, lemon pepper, soygarlic, or garlic Parmesan flavoring. I have had the Seoul spicy, and that would be my recommendation if you want somethingspicy. If you haven't tried their fried chicken. You should move it to the top of your list of places to try. TLDR: Nice location and tasty food. We went during their soft opening. Environment: This new location is right next to... Cinepolis cinema. If you?re familiar with the plaza, it has a lot to offer from things like Handels ice cream to SidecarDonuts. Service: Very nice waiter/waitresses. They were attentive and very helpful. The waiter took the time to explain themenu to us. Food: Tasty but very breaded. See below: 5 Soy Garlic Wings with Tater Tots: As mentioned before, their chickenis heavily breaded. This is more of a preference thing but for myself, I don?t prefer it to be that breaded. The soy garlicflavor was excellent and the tater tots has the right crunch to it. Worth it. Hot Chick Sandwich: Like the other dish, thischicken is heavily breaded as well. Typically it comes with a spicy slaw but I decided to not get it. The flavor wasn?t toospicy and tasted great. Their fries were extra crunchy if you prefer that. Worth it. Read more

We stopped by Cross Street around 7 pm on a Wednesday (I think this is the 2nd day of their soft opening). The restaurant has a... lot of indoor and outdoor seating. The staff was very friendly and was quick to take our take out order. Since it is their softopening, it looks like they aren't serving the full menu but they have many chicken options and most of their "bites" (fries, tater tots). We did a 5 piece combo with the OG flavor and garlic parmesan tater tots. I think it took about 15 minutes for ourorder. Everything was packaged nicely and the food was very fresh. The chicken and tater tots were very crispy and wellseasoned. Overall, a very pleasant experience and great tasting food. We will be coming back. Read more
