Sad pregnant mama. Had a taste for a chicken pomadori and some chicken noodle soup. Got there today(Sunday) at 6:34pm and they... were closed. The hours on the door say 7:30 pm. So does the website and the voice mail because I checked. I understand thatsometimes because of shortages they may have to close early at times. I think I'm moor upset because I'm pregnant and couldn'tsatisfy my craving but a sign on the door would have been helpful. Read more
Food was very good and more than enough. I did the half sandwich and pasta. Very tasty! Leftovers for next day! Service was fast... too. Their breakfast menu is really good too. Easy to stop to pick up on the way to work when need be. Read more
Disappointed and annoyed. The three stars is for great staff. The power is out in UH, Normal Heights, and North Park, so I... decided to pickup breakfast from Corner Bakery by the Target. I?ve been here before for tea and croissants, and the staff isalways great. Today I ordered pancakes and eggs. When I got home, two of the pancakes were burnt, one was over cooked, and onewas cooked properly and the eggs were brown and overcooked. Scrambled eggs should not be brown. What a waste of money. I won?tbe having breakfast from this location again and now I?m suspicious of what the other food is like. Read more
Ordered the pick two, potato soup and cesar salad with chicken. You also get to pick a side, I chose carrots. I also ordered a... vanilla sweet cold brew coffee but it wasn?t stirred fully and the syrup seemed to have settled at the bottom of the cup. Eitherway when mixing the coffee flavor wasn?t too great. I would definitely try it again another time dinning in because deliveryorders always seem to be a mess everywhere and drinks obviously get watered down. When I used to live in this area I would come here to eat. My breakfast was good but definitely not a wow. Scrambled eggs, bacon... and toast with a side of fruit. If you're like me and like real iced tea (brewed) they have it here in regular and flavored.I'll have to try their lunch meals sometime. Read more
Stumbled across this place with my lady this morning while running errands in Mission Valley. She ordered a Anaheim Panini and a... chai latte. I ordered a bacon Panini and a truffle mocha oh, we also split a chocolate muffin. Besides the portion size of thepaninis and the eggs not being seasoned everything else was 5 Stars across the board. Hands down the FILTHIEST place I?ve EVER been too! Corner Bakery is my go to place for an amazing salad. This place was not... durning any kind of rush, so let?s not blame it on that. Floors are sticky n gross! Yes, my shoes stuck to them. Straw rappers,toothpicks, napkins on the floor. Everything had a thick coat of dust on it. The waiting are that has a bench, that had emptycups and napkins just laying on it. When I called the manager over she (Heather) didn?t seem to even care. When I told her sheshould be embarrassed to call this her store, she got mad and walked away! I was not rude or even mad, just more disgusted withthis place. Very unprofessional way to handle an issue, HEATHER! I have a good idea, stop hiding out in the back room and takesome action to keep your place in order! No wonder it?s almost empty in here!
