The name of this restaurant caught my attention. I like and I love dragons ???? ?? in general. I wanted to give this a try based... on the dragon reference. There was no one in the restaurant when we walked in and it gave an appearance that no one paysattention to this place. However, we found out that their pay system was down and that they were only taking orders throughtheir app on online. We were about to go online and order and low and behold they were back online. Of course, that made allthe difference in the world to order our food. We ordered our food ... wonton soup, Singapore noodles, sweet and sour fish.???? They have a large selection and options to choose from. However, there's a feel of a mom and pop shop, small restaurant ina plaza, little or tiny seating area and drinks come in cans or bottled water. Hardly any decorations. We gave it a try andthat's all that matters. We did enjoy the food and its fairly good. Happy eating ???? Read more

Cashew Chicken is AMAZING! This place is a local favorite. Even on a Friday night, rush hour, my meal was ready in 20mins! ... The portions are large and I'm always greeted with a smile. The lady who works up front was slammed and she still made me feelwelcomed and appreciated. Thank you! Read more

I'm only giving this place one star because I have to in order to leave a review. I first want to start by saying that I have... been a customer of City Dragon for over a decade and personally know the owner and her husband. Well, unfortunately I haveallergies to shellfish and mushrooms, and at times my order has been incorrect and when I call they have always been courteousand made it right. Today was not like that! I always order the crispy noodles substitute the shrimp for BBQ pork and nomushrooms. When I served my plate I noticed there was mushrooms, so I called to let them know. The wife answered and got mad atme saying they checked it three times and that it was right, and as I tried to explain she hung up on me. I would like to addthat I go there so often that she knows me by my first name. After that I thought the call dropped so I called back and herhusband answered reiterating what she had just told them. I then proceeded to let him know I was going to take the food back sothey can see for themselves. As I arrived the wife totally ignored me and just gave me a new order. I tried showing her and shetold me she didn't have time for me and to leave, so I asked for the noodles that come with my order. While I was waiting Iasked her why she couldn't just apologize if her cooks were wrong and she just ignored me. When I walked out I told her that Iwould no longer support her business. She was so rude and disrespectful that I was flabbergasted by her behavior. Read more

This parking plaza is so tiny. The area is also sketchy. Street parking is metered along the side street but free along El Cajon... Blvd. We went with the basic standard safe dishes and ordered salt and pepper tofu ($10), salt and pepper chicken wings ($13),and orange chicken with rice ($13.50). The tofu was lightly breaded and deep fried with soft crispy shell and soft interior.Had chili garlic and scallion toppings that gave it a kick. The salt and pepper wings were jumbo and very crispy with all theflavors. Orange chicken was also well made. Had the tangy sauce. I think this is one of the better Chinese restaurants thatI?ve been to based on these three dishes. It was hot, made to order and fresh. Clean, had seating, it?s just the parking lotthat needs a reserved space for pick up. Read more

Really good food and large portions! The lady that took my order was very nice and polite. I ordered crunchy noodles and... didn't realize they came like a pack of dehydrated ramen, (just a heads up for those who were unaware). Dump the gravy on themthough and they soften up pretty quick. The only down side to this place is the lack of parking. They have a few spots in frontof the store, but those seem to fill up pretty quick. Over all this place is definitely a 5/5, the 4.1 they have as of thispost isn't fair. Read more

The food here seems closer to real Chinese food. The scent is different, You can smell the seasoned wok they cook it in.... That's part of the flavor. Just like cooking on cast-iron. Some of the best food out there is safely dirty in just the rightway. Read more

We ordered the appetizer sampler, spicy honey shrimp, Kung pao chicken & orange chicken. The appetizer was missing the tempura... shrimp, which was the reason we ordered the sampler?so that was frustrating. Everything was ok, but Panda Express is moreflavorful. We were visiting the area & wanted to try something quick & comparable to Panda Express but different. We wish wewould have just gone with Panda?it is much better. Read more

I?ve been here a few times, there is normally a nice man answering the phones and taking the orders. On Thursday a lady answered... the phone to take my order then hung up in my face before she confirmed anything. I had to call back to see if the order hadbeen recorded but she told me it was so busy inside of the restaurant that she hung up after she heard my order. When I got tothe restaurant I asked her about the shrimp so I could add it to my order but she ignored questions, ignored me trying to orderthe shrimp and called the next person in line. She was extremely rude in person and on the phone so I made the decision to nolonger support the business. The lady refused to refund my money although I didn?t take the food. I snapped the picture attachedto this review of her throwing the food she refused to refund me for in the trash. Read more
