We lived down the street from this great little place in 1999/2000. We STILL talk about how good the sub we loved, was. Turkey,... tuna, provolone, avocado, lettuce, and a little red onion. I was craving a good sandwich & dropped into this deli. I ordered their New Yorker & it was super yummy. The gentlemen behind... the counter was very inviting & gave me a to go menu. They have a variety of options to choose from and can make hot or coldsandwiches. The service was good and fast, I will for sure visit this place again. Read more

This deli in fact does have the cheers t show nostalgic feel to it. Stepping in feels that nostalgic 80's touch to it, the... sandwiches are thick and amazing- but my favorite part is the service. The employees aren't your basic cranky teenage subwayservers, these adults are proud of their jobs. They're mothers, fathers, grandparents. The sandwiches taste like their made fromhome and are handled with care. This deli is a hidden gem of San Diego. Read more
We ordered lunch for 26 from Golden Cheers-this was a huge order! We had the make-your-own deli sandwich platter along with... potato salad, 3-cheese tortellini, Greek salad, and a fresh fruit platter. Each and every item was out-of-this-world deliciousand we had leftovers that people fought over! Run, do not walk to Golden Cheers for lunch.
