Bottom line, Charles + Dinorah is a hidden gem. A delicious dinner and classic movie. Fun! Service - The service was good. I... would say it was exactly what should be expected. We had a reservation and were seated immediately, server came to get our drinkorder a couple minutes later. We put in our appetizer order and it came out reasonably quick, followed shortly by our entrees. The server checked on us periodically. No complaints. Noise/Sound - The music was good (a tad quiet) and when the movie wasplaying, it was a good volume. Food/Taste - We ordered the Salt and Pepper Calamari as an app. I ordered the Wagyu Beef Burgerand my wife ordered the PEI Mussels for entrees. I'm giving the burger 3.5 stars. It was cooked well and didn't taste bad, butthe smoked cheddar steals is too overbearing of a flavor. If this burger had regular cheddar or a little milder flavored cheese,I'd give it at least one more star. Overall, the food was pretty good. Drinks - My wife ordered the Helter Shelter and Iordered the Provisional Negroni. Both were delicious. We ordered seconds. Price - The cost was fair. I'd say they're right onpar with what you'd expect (generally speaking) especially considering we got a movie as well. Will we return to Charles +Dinorah (The Pearl) in the future? Definitely, if they're playing a movie we want to see. Read more

My girlfriend, in her upper 20s, was accused by the waitress of having a fake California Driver License. We were laughed at and... told that the ID was obviously fake. Condescending and rude. We are both part-asian and look young; I’m early 30s. The ID wasissued by the CA DMV and gets my girlfriend through TSA. It was embarrassing and we walked out. We’ve been here 2 timesbefore this. We used to like to stop here for drinks after landing at the airport. We are not coming back. Read more

What an experience!!! This spot randomly popped up on my Yelp & I decided to give it a shot. First - this restaurant is inside... the pearl hotel. Second - street parking (it's not bad at all, I found parking quick). Third - pretty small menu but does thejob. They have a great happy hour. certain items are only $9 and drinks are on happy hour too. They play movies on theprojector & have movie nights on Tuesdays! I got the roasted carrots, chicken karaage & the fish tacos. The roasted carrots area must get if you come here. The chicken was 10/10. I'd come back for this alone. I cleared those plates real quick lol. Thefish tacos were pretty basic. Just reminded me of a Rubio's taco. The dessert was recommended by the waitress and it wasdelicious! To drink I got the apple & eve. It was so good. I'd get this again for sure! Service was quick & on point. Only onewaitress was handling the entire outdoor seating & she handled it well! I'll definitely be back for a movie night! Read more

I saw some of the previous highly positive reviews and decided to try this place out with some friends after we picked them up... from the airport. The experience from start to finish was superb. My wife and I both agreed that this was one of the bestexperiences that we have had at a restaurant in a very long time. That first experience left us wanting more and we came backjust a week and a half later and enjoyed it just the same! If you're looking for a great place for a small group gathering or aperfect date restaurant, look no further. The well trained and hard working staff, the perfect ambience, the amazing food, andthe solid bar program all work together to provide a flawless experience! Read more

C+D was genuinely one of the best restaurants I have ever been to in my life. Each dish was hand-crafted and unique, and the... drinks were great. The vibe is 60s motel meets clean mod pool bar and worth visiting just for the visuals. Get the herbedcarrots, the Japanese fried chicken, and the house salad - trust me! Thank you for the amazing experience! Read more

Each dish was of phenomenal presentation and tasted really good. The skirt steak had all these different interesting... ingredients. The charcuterie was reeeeeally good with what seemed to be like 30 different ingredients. All in a 60s legitCalifornia setting. Read more
