Stopped in for lunch while it was pretty empty, quick service and food. The Nashville chicken sandwich was pretty good and very... large. Had a tasty sauce on it and went well with the sweet tea. Read more

It's nice place and delicious dishes. The outdoor dining experience at Cerveza Jack's is great! The chicken tacos had this sweet... tangy sauce, refreshing and crunchy. Food was good but not great. It would have been acceptable if the service was good but the service was lacking. Servers seemed... to not want to be there and could care less about serving us from the start putting us in the crappiest table there was. Drinkswere mostly ice also. We thought Sangria with fresh seasonal fruit meant it had lots of fruit in the drink but it only meant asingle black berry... for $9. Would not go back. Read more

Service was great. Food was delicious. Highly recommend the pasta, hush puppies, and fried shrimp app.

So many choices but we picked a great one. Lots of seating in and out. We decided to eat inside, it was a little cool. We had... great service. Food was delicious. Tried the hush puppies and popcorn shrimp for starters. Loved them both. We would definitelygo back!!!!! Read more

I admit, we chose this place because cafe Seville had a long line around 8 pm, and C Jack had almost a full house but tables... available still. I liked the handsome DJ who mixed good old songs that made us reminisce. We ordered plenty of beers (goodselection), battered shrimp for appetizer, jambalaya penne and chicken tacos to share. The penne dish is spicy, and it buildsup, a bit too creamy for my taste. The chicken tacos had this sweet tangy sauce, refreshing and crunchy. It wasn’t a placeyou’d want to stay for too long once you’re full of food and beer. Still, it was a formidable alternative to Seville. Read more

Great new place in the heart of the gaslamp! The appetizers were incredible, the meals were exceptional and the margaritas were... probably one of the best margs I’ve ever had (for reals!) Top notch service and location/people watching cannot be beat!Definitely a must visit when in downtown San Diego/ Gaslamp Quarter. Read more
