Food was good and the spices used were very unique and different than most of the Indian restaurants in town. I must say, lahori... daal was mouth watering. I tried vegetarian items and they were very tasty. I assume their nonveg cuisines should be eventastier. Hope to dine in some day. I order take out and the order was packaged in a sealed plastic bag. Very niceexperience.\n\nUpdated: Visited this place again but this time for dine in. Food was comparatively bland (less salt and too muchoil) and not very tasty. They also did not serve the orders to respective person. They also forgot to serve one of our orders. Read more

They are many restaurants around offering and claiming to be delivering the real tastes from Pakistan but fail to meet their... claim. We went to this place for a dinner as this was the only Halal restaurant close to where we were at and food there wasjust so amazing. A food with real Desi touch in it. They have a great team who greet you with a pleasant smile on face. The menuis so diverse with plenty of options. It was kind a at home feeling. The overall experience was extremely tasty that we had togo back for a Desi lunch on Sunday driving 80 Miles all the way from Riverside. Highly recommended for first time experience asyou would not need recommendation for the second time and this is surely going to become your first choice for dine out. Read more

Best ( authentic) Pakistani cuisine in the area. Drove from LA to enjoy this gem. Beef Nihari, malai boti and beef seekh pleased... our palate. Meat quality were clearly top tier and recipes had passion. Lady that took our order and served us was veryfriendly and welcoming. Clean place, clean restrooms, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and ample parking. We shall returnsoon:) Read more

First time diners at Casa Lahori today - wow! Each dish was a literal flavor explosion - we were a little unprepared for such... flavor in the bland landscape of RB dining options. I had the chicken tikka - tender bbq style with a nice balance of what Ithink was cumin and coriander (I was stuffing my face so can’t be sure). My hubs had butter chicken (which I kept stealing-Icould eat that sauce on rice every day of my life with joy). Even something as seemingly basic as naan and rice was delicious ontheir own, and the mango lassi was thick and dreamy. Suffice to say we ate far too much. One dish easily feeds 2. This cafe isnot just about their delicious food-Seemi was a delight to chat with (she’s also the chef) and the interior is clean as awhistle, or you can sit in the nice outdoor dining area in the fresh air (always our choice). Highly, highly recommend! Read more

OMG! OMG! Fantastic! Superb!\nYou can use as many words you want to praise their food, hospitality and mannerism. Love this... place. I wish we lived in San Diego to visit them every weekend. I was in San Diego for our conference. First time for ourfamily on West Coast. First morning, First day, googled few restaurants, liked the reviews and got there. After first visit,Casa Lahori was our favorite stop every day. I lived in Lahore for 10 years, have been living in Northeast for years, trieddifferent restaurants in New York, DC, Virginia, you name it but one thing I can say for sure, their chappal kababs, you can noteven find in Lahore. You can not go wrong with any item in their menu, chappal kabab, seekh kabab were my favorites. Daal wasalso amazing. Tandoori naan, mango lassi were great. We also tried Nehari, chanas, halwa puri, and butter chicken. Nehari mightbe spicy for some people’s taste but if you can tolerate the spice, taste was amazing! Everything was genuine, with uniquetaste, different from one gravy restaurants. The ambience and cleanliness was top quality. This is the first time we have evervisited the same restaurant on three consecutive days, yet each day we felt happier with the food and quality. My wife and kidsloved it too. I wish we had more days in SanDiego. I have already recommended it to all my colleagues and family, it should bein must eat places whoever visit SanDiego. I wish I could give more than five stars. One last thing, our hotel was 20miles fromthem, and we still managed to go there every day. This is enough to tell you how great both husband and wife are and how amazingtheir food is… Read more
