Best croissants in town! Lots of yummy pastries, sandwiches, organic coffee. Customer service is superb and prices great. Coffee... is a medium roast (I prefer light), but still smooth and good quality. Loved the game and cheese croissant sandwich! Will goback again Read more

One of my FAVORITE coffee shops downtown. The staff are always so helpful, friendly, and accommodating. Amazing coffee and tea!... They have a great selection of gluten free pastries as well which I have a tough time finding at other shops. The atmosphere isso charming, and I love the music selection they play. Highly recommend!!! Read more

I went to Cafe de l'Opera for brunch. They close early, I didn't know. The lady at the counter said, we have 20 minutes, it's... OK. I took a cafe and a croisant with Egg with feta cheese and basil. It was delicious. The staff is very friendly andpolite. Food has alot of attention. You can also try their different types of bread or patisserie. I lovely cosy Cafe. As Icouldn't find anything wrongbduring my visit I would give them a 5 star. Definitely recommended. Read more

My favorite part about going to my office downtown is that I get to stop by this cafe for breakfast or lunch. It?s authentically... French and everything I?ve tried is delicious. The prices are very reasonable and the staff are so kind. The smoothies, breakfast sandwiches, paninis, salads, coffee, pastries - it?s all amazing. I?m on a mission to try everything on the menu!Hands down my favorite casual restaurant in downtown. Read more

Good taste of music. Worst latte I?ve ever had? too bland, too hot, doesn?t taste like latte/milk but more cocoa. food is okay.... I asked for dine in but all were in paper wrappers (my neighbors get plates & cups though). Overall not impressed (especiallythe coffee). Read more

Lovely spot for breakfast. We went to the place across the street that was busy with the line out the door and the staff... giggling at the register. We started back towards our hotel and saw a small menu sign and decided to walk in. The coffee was sogood we bought beans to bring home. We had two ciabatta breakfast sandwiches and an almond croissant. It was all authentic anddelicious. The restaurant serves on real plates reducing waste. I will definitely avoid the crowds at the other spots and comedirectly here next time. Read more

I stopped by here for dessert. I had their cappucino with their lemon ricotta cupcake. I took an almond croissant home. Many... places don't know how to make a croissant and keep the butter from burning out of it, therby losing the softness we all know andlove in a croissant. This place did it right, and filled it will just the right amount of almond paste. Not too much or toolittle. It was dusted with powdered sugar and topped with almonds to make a neat presentation. The little bistro is just asyou'd imagine, cute high top tables, some benches and a glass case full of French patisserie, brownies, and cookies. They havesalads and bowls as well as breakfast. A cute little stop in Gaslamp near Petco park. Read more

The place looks good but the bread was aweful and the butter has a very weird taste ( like it was expired). Croissant was much... better than the chocolate croissant ( under- cooked). The shop was totally empty but it took more than 10 min for the staff tobring us coffe. One customer run out of patience and left without ordering anything as the waitress did not even look at him formore than 5 min. Would not recommend anybody to have breakfast or lunch there. Read more
