Reviews for Café 20/20 in San Diego, CA
After reading reviews, I found out most reviewers don?t like them personally or competitors. I tested them. They are really nice... and hard working people. If you are bad customers, you will not have good experience here. They are straight to work. They mademy breakfast everyday while I was on a business trip stayed at blue sea hotel. They are friendly, and professional, fresh foodand price is cheap based on quality. God bless cafe 20/20! Read more
Omg. Believe the horrible reviews. Should have read before I walked in. Very unhappy and snide person running the business. Only... came in because I was starving and staying at nearby hotel. So rude I walked out. For late night food nearby, fast Mexican, godue north to Ramiro?s Mexican. Stay away from 0/20. Read more
Almost $50 for 2 waters (small Costco Kirkland brand coconut and Kirkland brand Alkaline) and 2 açaí bowls (Hawaiians). The... bowls were barely filled half way. Mine was missing the peanut butter I had paid for but it was added, after I mentioned it.The other literally had less than a small pinch of shredded coconut, like less than 1/4 tsp (immeasurable and insignificant forflavor or nutrition). (Prices here are significantly inflated, while significantly cutting quantity of offerings? a combinedpractice I have not seen elsewhere.) There was a fly in one bowl when I picked it up. We tried to eat our bowls, just outsidewhile sitting on the edge of the planters, but the ?house? flies were too aggressive. One bowl was cracked on the side, that wedidn?t notice until we were half way home and had a small mess. I am currently sick to my stomach after eating my bowl (I eataçaí frequently) (my bowl also had the peanut butter). If you are a tourist, you might explore this spot? The bowl, did, taste good, although I felt completely ripped off and now sick. If you are a local, I doubt you will come here repeatedly. Read more
Kind of pricey, but should be expected from organic and natural ingredients. Very yummy food. Great customer service. We loved... our very berry and strawberry banana smoothies. My husband loved the crepes and I loved the breakfast sandwich. I woulddefinitely eat here again. I don?t understand what other people are complaining about. Read more
I have gotten the açaí smoothie, Hawaiian bowl and iced coffee here, all great and gonna go for more. Mala, who works the... front is a sweet person and has amazing customer service. She works very hard to make the customer happy, I know I enjoyed myexperience there vs the bike path shops that are fast paced. Read more
Rude Bad Experience WOULD NOT GIVE A 75 YEAR OLD LADY ICE WHO FELL for me the service wasn?t rude it was how the owners acted to... the other people. Me and my best friend ordered kids size açaí bowls. As you can see from the pictures below the acai wasn?teven an inch thick it was barely any. That wasn?t the worst. As me and my friend are standing there ordering, a lady comes up tothe counter and kindly asks the owner if she could have a bag of ice since her 75 year old mother had just fallen out side onthe concrete. The owner replied and said ?no nothing is free anymore or today? The customer said all she needed was a handfulof ice for her mothers chin that was bleeding. The owner refused to give her the ice but handed her a plastic bag. I thenoffered to pay for a cup of ice but the owner said I could get it for free since I was a paying customer. I took the cup of iceand handed it to the family and they were very greatful. After that I don?t think I can ever give this place the gratitude of myservice. Read more
EXTREMELY rude personnel. Will never return. Ordered a drink and an açaí bowl (kid size for 9$). I received a bowl of fruit... with a tiny amount of açaí coating the bottom of the bowl. I was confused and returned to ask if this was correct. It turnedout to be the proper amount for a kids size and he claimed that it was to be expected for ordering a kids item and that thelarge was 3x as much açaí (for 13$). I asked to upsize the order and just pay for a large, yet he started speaking loudly overme and accusing the people here in SD of wanting things for free, and blaming me for ordering a kids size. He told me that theonly thing i could do is reorder ANOTHER açaí bowl and pay full price. The rudest man in the restaurant business. Save yourmoney and time, do not come here. Read more
This is a solid corner café that has a huge menu of items to choose from. Whether it?s Aqui bowls, or fresh smoothies or... sandwiches, they have it all. They always have really friendly service and get you in and out very quickly. The pricing is verytypical for any place right on the beach like this. The premium location is worth it. This close to the beach there of course isno parking immediately. The neighborhoods in this area usually get filled with beach traffic. the quality of food is a plus. Iwould absolutely come back anytime I?m in the area. Read more
