Wasted 27.00 for My urber eats. Didn't follow the order they put sour cream on my bean and cheese burrito, its in the trash cant... have sour cream, gave me a bag of Chip paid extra for cheese I didnt get should have been chips and chesse , paid for extrahouse sauce and only got four cups 2 green 2 red . Great spot for a breakfast burrito! They fry the eggs instead of scramble them, which I love. The hashbrown burrito is my go-to.
Burros & Fries is overall really good. But if you have the choice to go to another location other than one on palm.... then go!!... The burritos are much smaller than the other spots I've been to. I went today for a shrimp Cali burro and adobada fries, and the shrimp Cali was the worst I?ve ever had. The cheese wasn?t even... melted and the whole burro was cold, while the shrimp looked very uncooked. Plus a quarter of my burro was tomatoe. It made mystomach hurt and I don?t think I?m ever going to try here again after seeing the price for such a low quality burrito. Read more
Ordered the small surf & turf fries. Fries were over cook. Shrimp was rubbery. Lack of shrimp specially per price of plate was... disappointing. Especially after over hear another consumer and the cashier talking about raising the prices. I dont mind payingthe cost for quality product but this order i felt cheated. Place is clean, spacious. Came here for the first time while visiting La Jolla Beaches. We wanted El Gordo Tacos however were closed. Driving around we... randomly found this spot and decided to drop in. I ordered their 2 Fish taco plate which came with rice and beans. Wifey oderedtheir 5 taquitos which came with cheese, guacamole, and pico de gallo. Daughter got their kids meal quesadillas and fries, shereally enjoyed. I believe they used Oaxacan style cheese which is way better than most Americanized restaurants. Their fishtacos were amazing and in comparison to El Taco Nazo *Baja style* their cream sauce that goes over them was true to authenticflavors and I enjoyed every bite. Rice and beans covered with Cotijo cheese also amazing flavors. Thier shredded beef taquitoswere very delicious as well. If we are in the area again, most definitely will stop by and try other food items on themenu. They practice social distancing and is open for pick up or take out only during the pandemic.
