Bunny Chow Express - First time I?ve ever sank my teeth in South African cuisine and let me tell you. The taste of these dishes... is truly amazing, and I have never tasted anything like it. Nothing comes to comparison, I mean the sauce they put on their meatis out of this world. My taste buds were truly mesmerized. Plus the staff were super friendly and knowledgeable on their menu.I will definitely come back to this gem as soon as I can. Round #2 - i came back and finally tried the lamb curry with rice. Taste buds are on fire with this one, and i also enjoyed the coleslaw salad. I never even liked coleslaw till I came to bunnychow. Read more

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Got the bobotie with rice and coleslaw and the sempanadas with macaroni salad. Everything was exceptional.... Each dish had a truly unique flavor that meshed well with one another. The owner really walked us through the menu and was verypatient in explaining everything to us. We genuinely finished everything in one sitting, which is saying something because theirportions are generous. It all tasted incredible and kept us wanting bite after bite. Read more

I had the lamb curry bunny chow (spice level zero, because I'm a wimp) and my husband had the chicken curry bunny chow (spice... level seven, because he is not). Both were absolutely perfect. The bread was soft and springy and absorbed the curry saucebeautifully, each one was exactly the spice level we asked for. The meat was tender and tasty, and the little desserts at theend were perfect little crunch bars of comfort. They reminded me of ANZAC biscuits. The owner is clearly passionate about hisfood and so friendly! Definitely going to make this a regular spot when I'm meeting my husband after work. Read more

Bunny Chow BBQ is something else.. Delicious, flavorful and from what I heard from South Africans dining there - this takes them... back home. Awesome owner and staff who puts their heart into every effort made cooking up these meals. Had the chicken and lamb, not enough room to try everything else but I'll be back! Thank you guys, keep the flavors coming - will upgrade my spice levelnext time I'm there. Cheers! Read more

Don?t walk, RUN to Bunny Chow! Gary is the sweetest human being, he went out of his way to make us feel at home. The food was... AMAZING. We had the lamb curry, seafood curry, chicken, and meatball curry over rice and the bread loaf. If you love flavor andspice, this is the place for you! Truly authentic. Again, Gary the owner is truly the nicest person. He went above and beyond tohelp make our experience enjoyable. Go support this business! Read more

Bunny chow moved into the space formerly occupied by a rotisserie affair catering on Carroll Rd. People couldn't be nicer, and I... had the lamb curry for lunch. They also had chicken curry available for order. I got it plated over rice rather than in thebread loaf, though I was pretty conflicted when I saw the fresh loaves coming out of the oven. I'll have to come back to tryit. Curry was tasty though not super memorable and a bit on the pricey side, $15 + tax. Curry had potatoes and lamb in a wellspiced tomato based sauce. Waited about 15 minutes for the food to come out after ordering and the line was moving pretty slow.Probably not the best choice if you're looking for a quick lunch. They've got a few tables out front with only 2 with umbrellas. Read more
