This goes to another spot I've just tried for the first time as a SD native, born and raised all my life. No regrets. Fantastic... pizza! Loved the crew's energy and vibes. Props to the cashier running it down in front who was chill and super dope. you cancall and pick up at the front window or wait your butt outside with your money ready like the rest of us! cash only w/ ATMinside 2 seating areas, 1 closer to kitchen for singles and couples. bigger room a bit further down for larger parties 2specials for under 10 bucks: 2 slices of your choice + soda 1 slice + 1 salad + soda ($7 total, straight up. cash only no taxesor fees) I got the pesto and the pepperoni. w/ soda (or pop as the cashier said!) Greasy, cheesy goodness. Very crispy, andthin! The entrance is quite small with many people frequently passing through. Interior is kinda old school and dimly lit. I've been eating here for years, and the pizza is always great. I usually get a couple slices, a bargain at $3 each, cash only.... The service is quick and efficient, but don't expect them to kiss your a$$. They do a brisk business. Parking is questionable.Accessible service through the exterior window. Decor is an homage to the Bronx. They took out the soda fountain, probablybecause of Covid. They now sell cans from a cooler. Read more
Grand babies were with us and wanted pizza. Googled best pizza and Bronx pizza popped up first place. When we got there there... was no seating available. But we managed to snag a table. The awesome memorabilia inside made it super fun to look at andalthough I?m not the boxing fan like my husband. He was a like a kid in a candy store. Was teaching our grand babies about theboxers there. Food was absolutely amazing. The crust was perfect, the ingredients were fresh and wry delicious. Decided to take a drive out from OC to try this spot on a random Sunday. So worth the drive!!! Plenty of indoor seating, staff... was awesome, pizza crust was amazing, and prices are great!! As someone born and raised in Jersey, my biggest fear with relocating to SD was that I wouldn?t have good pizza at my disposal.... Thank you, Bronx Pizza, I can now move here and have a little taste of home away from home. The pizza was SO good. I orderedone slice of pepperoni (asked for it crispy). It was delicious!!! Cheese to sauce ratio was on point. Crust was really good aswell. A few bites into my slice, I went back and ordered two more! Highly recommend this place. My only complaint is theyaren?t on DoorDash and only take cash. (There is an ATM there in case you don?t come prepared.) Read more
