Our waiter (Roceal C.) Was incredible. Very attentive and greeted us with a handshake and a name. Food came out fast and drinks... as well. Broken Yolk is a chain, but this particular one lives up to the reputation. We had the chicken fried steak and thehawaiian French toast. Both were great and strong portions. Nothing out of the ordinary compared to some hole in the wall placesbut a consistent establishment if you're looking for a solid brunch and drinks. Read more

We waited for 15 min for an outdoor seat on a sun at around 1030am The food was average. Chicken waffle 3/10 ? chicken was not... crunchy enough. The sauce wasn?t great. Skillet 5/10 Add on side pancake 7/10 Waffle sandwich 3/10 Maybe I just wasn?t a fan oftheir waffles Stuff French toast 8/10. Best dish we ordered. Our waitress was super sweet and checked up on us frequently, butshe forgot creamer for my coffee twice. Read more

Amazing find. Wanted to find a place for breakfast/brunch and found this gem on Yelp. On the corner of Reagan Rd and Mira Mesa... Blvd, it is in a plaza that?s not hard to find but you can easily miss it when you drive through the small plaza fast. Parkingis not difficult to find as they have an outdoor public lot right outside the restaurant. We ordered the Sope benedict,Oatmeal, and French Toasted sticks for the kids. Sope Benedict was amazing; though a bit spicy. If you?re not used to eatingspicy like myself don?t order it; but it was so good that I eat it enduring the spice that makes my face beet red. The tomato, pouched eggs with yolk slightly running, bread and avocado was out of this world. Spicy but good. The Toasted French sticks areamazing presented with colored fresh fruits. Even the oatmeal was nicely presents strawberries, blueberries, and sliced almonds.Oh-so-delicious. Also especially want to recommend Rocael C Han, who is an extremely superb waiter. Not only was he friendly, attentive, he also recognized me being military and offered a discount. What a great waiter should be. Because of the food andRocael?s service, we will definitely come back again when in the area. Bravo and keep up the good work Rocael & Broken YolkCafe! Read more

We visited on a Friday morning and were seated right away. The service was prompt and cordial. My family enjoyed the food. Me, I... thought that the pancakes were too thick and the crepes dough needed more flavor. My family loved the pancakes and crepes. Mynephew said that his salad had too much grilled chicken. We are never happy. We had a wonderful time together. Read more
