Delicious, HEARTY breakfast! This was my first breakfast after arriving in SD and I was not disappointed. I ordered the shrimp... frittata with a side of the strawberry cheesecake pancakes, a strawberry-flavored cocktail (can?t remember the name), and theube latte. Everything was delicious and hugely portioned. I look forward to coming back the next time I?m in the area! Read more

A favorite spot for us. We got there early enough the wait mentioned in other reviews wasn?t a problem. The pancakes were fluffy... and flavorful. The Benedict was terrific. My personal taste is to have a little more toasted texture to the English muffin, butthat?s not an issue with the preparation or taste of the composed dish. The coffee drinks were great, and they did adjust thetemp upon request for my son?s preference of 130° so he doesn?t have to wait to drink it. Even a late add-on of two eggs tocounter those rich pancakes was handled quickly and still made well. Read more

We stayed in SD for 5 nights and had 5 breakfast in different locations, this was the last one, I wish Breakfast Republic was... the first. Very delicious breakfast, and it was enough too (I was full when I left there), in all the other places I had toorder additional meal to have enough food. Service was great, it wasn't just our waiter, every single staff member wasfriendly. Cleanliness was just a little off, but they were really busy, that could explain that. Read more

After checking in our BnB (which was fabulous) we landed at Breakfast Republic for brunch. We waited for 15 min in line to get a... table of six. Very professional and efficient process. We felt welcomed and well taken care off. As it was Brunch on holiday westarted with alcoholic drinks. They had some good choice of beer. Kitchen was extremely busy and staff kept us aware of delaysand choices which changed quickly. That allowed us to sit and enjoyed family conversation. I will recommend this place. We hadso much fun for party of 6. Read more

We came for a late breakfast on a Friday and the place was packed. Being willing to sit outside, we were seated pretty quickly.... We picked the spot because some wanted sweet breakfast and others had in mind savory, more lunch like options. It did notdisappoint. The churro pancakes were a hit as was the Japanese fried chicken sandwich. They were out of egg substitute for thefrittata, which was great because we aren't vegan and preferred real eggs anyways. Service was attentive, keeping our coffeemugs filled. Only after eating here did I realize they have locations all over the San Diego area. Read more

The food was OK. We had to wait about 20-25 minutes to be seated. We visited on a Sunday morning, so it was busy. I ordered the... pesto mushroom benedict and it tasted good. The bottomless coffee wasn't really bottomless because the servers were really busy. But everyone was really polite and nice. Read more

The omelette was just so so, the Benedict was tasty, and the pancakes ???? were delicious! However, the cook left a giant piece... of egg shell on my Benedict ???????????? This should not happen. The server offered a new one for me. But I didn?t want to wastefood. ???????? It ended up with the restaurant treated me the iced latte as a compensation. Read more
