Reviews for Breakfast Republic in San Diego, CA
My wife and I were looking for vegan pancakes and Breakfast Republic offered amazing vegan peach pancakes! So good!!! The... fresh squeezed OJ was also really good. The restaurant is super casual. The wait staff are friendly and attentive. The menuis varied. While located in Pacific Beach, they have ample parking available (with 2 hours free ????). Will definitely be onour list to revisit when we're back in the area! Read more
My family visited this place for brunch recently on a Sunday morning. Parking could potentially be a challenge as this place is... a block from the beach, but we got luck and grabbed a spot right next to the restaurant. Once checked in around 11am we hadabout a 40 minute wait from arrival to seating. After our wait, we were seated at a table in the back corner. Nice for beingout of the middle of the restaurant, but a bit warm without any moving air. Both my kids ordered pancakes for their meals. Mywife got the mashed potato omelet and I had the California breakfast burrito. The kids were very satisfied with their pancakes.Neither were able to finish the three large cakes as the portions were ample. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her omelet, which shehad ordered partly out of curiosity. I also enjoyed my burrito, though I feel like there could have been a bit more steak and alittle less potato. Overall, the whole family enjoyed their meals. While we don't live in San Diego, we'd definitely come backif we're ever in town again. This is definitely a good place to grab brunch on a lazy Sunday morning. Read more
Creative food, excellent service, 1 block to the beach. What could better? The Elvis was amazing. You had me at banana fosters.... No, you had me at peanut butter! Why not both! Bloody Mary was also amazing. Portugese sausage scramble was ok. I would haveliked larger pieces of sausage. But small complaint. Love this place! Read more

My favorite breakfast restaurant chain. First time at this location. I was impressed with the friendly service. Although this... location is a bit smaller than the other places through out San Diego, it has the same menu and also a small kiosk outdoor toserve people wanting grab and go service. Every time we come here, my wife has to get their egg Benedict. She loves the waythey cook their poached eggs and the sauces to go with them. The fried sliced potato is fantastic too. For me, I like to tryout different things on the menu. This time, I tried their cinnamon pancake. It was amazingly fluffy and full of cinnamonflavor. I loved the crunchy walnut to go with the pancake. This the only place I had this type of pancake. The hot Coffee andchocolate were the perfect pairing drinks for these breakfast dishes. For parking, this location is a bit tricky as it shares apublic parking lot. Have to let the server know you license plates to avoid getting towed. Read more
This place has a pancake for you. Regardless of what you are in the mood for, they have a flavor for that. The cheesecake... pancake will never let you down. Their coffee is made to order and tastes better than any other coffee I had during my 7 dayvisit. Service was excellent as well. Keep it up! Read more

Awesome breakfast. It?s a big and busy place, they may have waiting times but I went on Tuesday and got a table. Order was... quickly taken and served fast as well. Had their Benedict?s, it was well done with a hint of avocado sauce on top changed thewhole taste! The cheese on the biscuits just below the egg was a good way for Benedict?s. Rosemary potatoes were perfectly warmand crispy. It?s just a block away from beach. Read more
