My wife and I came in tonight to celebrate our 1 year anniversary and delayed honeymoon and had a wonderful experience! Our... server, Jacob, really went out of his way to make our night special and make us feel welcome. The food was already excellent,but Jacob’s service turned this into an unforgettable night. Only paid parking or street parking available. There is outdoor and indoor seating available. We arrived without a reservation... but they were able to get us in. I did the make your own pasta dish. The homemade noodles were delicious as was the sauce butthere was a disconnect when adding the chicken as it relates to the rest of the dish. For the amount of money, the dish didn'twork well. We ordered the bread with oil and balsamic vinegar but the oil and vinegar were served in a bowl like dish so weonly really got oil on the bread. It would have been better if the oil and vinegar were served in a shallow dish in order toget both items on the bread. Restrooms were clean and well stocked with supplies. Friendly staff. Read more
Wow just amazing!!!!! If I could give them more stars I would! The service was great, the atmosphere was great, the food was... even better! I definitely recommend coming here! My husband took me here for date night and we were truly blown away! Definitelyrecommend ordering the Fiori Di Zucca Ripieni and Polipo Al Forno and Crema Di Aragosta and let me tell youuuu I couldn’t evenbelieve the flavors that were happening in my mouth lol! For our main course we ordered Ravioli Di Granchio and Tartufo & Funghimade inside the parmigiana wheel imported from Italy! They actually had to get a special license to do the cheese wheel! The service was great! The food is good. I ordered the parmesan wheel ruffle pasta that was good, the plate size is a shareable... portion that probably will be good for two. We had the most wonderful first experience here! The food was absolutely fantastic! Drinks very tasty! Service outstanding! I... forget the name of our server but he was extremely friendly and made our time there more enjoyable. On top of that he was theonly server and it was very busy. He did such a great job. One of the best Italian restaurants in San Diego. As a whole, this place sets the standard for memorable meals and exceptional... service. Most recent experience lacked quality and consistency in service. Server was very apathetic and unengaging (with alltables). He just did not provide typical high customer-centered service found at this restaurant. The food was excellent asusual. Notice a couple tables got up and left due to the lack of attention and slow responsiveness. Definitely well developedflavor profiles created here with fresh ingredients and attention to details with meal preparation and presentation. Flopped onthis visit in service category. This place is extremely busy, so if you plan on going Friday or the weekend, GET A RESERVATION!! The food was pretty good -... ordered the infamous cheese pasta, lamb, and the prosciutto. Everything was delicious... But I think that's due to beingextremely hungry lol. Overall the price was a bit much cause the lamb wasnt hot and the cheese pasta dish was alright.
