Baskin-Robbins is already one of my favorite ice cream places due to the variety of flavors and options on the menu. I ordered some ice cream on deal dash and was appalled by how my ice cream arrived. I'm not sure if they were completely out of... bags and containers, but with there being a global pandemic and all, there's no excuse for my ice cream to be completelyexposed. Not sure how much protection this napkin is supposed to provide. ???? Read more
We were greeted with a big smile as soon as we opened the doors and went inside. It was very welcoming because there was 9 of... us and we're not the best customers you'll ever have. But for the staff that was working that night, they handled us prettywell. We were like, oh can we try this one, how about that one, can I try that one too, promise this is my last sample, okay Ipromise this one is my last sample. Imagine 7 adults and 2 kids doing all of that at same time with only 2 employees. Man, Iwas impressed! They were so quick, so nice about it, not annoyed at all, kept smiling the whole time and best of all, they wereresponding with; of course, you sure can, try some more, and no it's okay you can try as many flavors as you want. Just experienced the absolute worst customer service here. Im shocked and disappointed by how management handled the issue. At... the end of the day, a $40 cake won?t break the bank, but the fact that a blatant mistake on their part was minimized andmanagement was completely unapologetic infuriated me. I ordered a customized cake, very simple white cake filled with a flavorice cream that is very sentimental for my family. Upon ordering and specifying that I wanted white frosting to match the colorscheme of the table, I was shocked to see blue frosting instead when I came to pick it up! I explained this was a very specialbday and I needed this corrected. After the cake decorator shared that a correction would likely be too time-consuming, sheoffered me something in the cake case even though the flavor Ice cream I wanted wasn?t available. At this point, I was alreadydisappointed, but realize that, yes mistakes happen and was appreciative she was making the effort to fix this mistake clearlymade by a coworker. I didn?t want to appear ?greedy? so just chose the smallest, simplest vanilla cake, explaining I would juststick a cake topper on it anyway and It should be decent enough and still look fine on the table even tho it?s small. She agreedthat was fair and asked if I needed anything else to which I replied it wasn?t necessary but thanked her for her kindness. Theshift lead overhears this then pulls her to the back to inform her that the store manager on the phone has not allowed this andthat if I wanted another cake I would have to pay for it, although a discount could be offered. Considering the mistake, i wasshocked I was expected to pay for another cake (literally the cheapest one in the freezer case!) so asked what my other optionswere. I was told I could just leave and the manager would call me back in a couple days or so to rectify the situation.
