We arrived in San Diego right in the middle of the dia de los muertas celebration And were immediately drawn to Barra Barra. It... was a beautifully decorated and welcoming restaurant. It was a lively and fun atmosphere people of all ages were there Itseemed. They had a trio of musicians going around to the tables which really added to the atmosphere, they were excellent andvery friendly. We ordered the loaded nacho dish as an appetizer everything was fresh and delicious. The food was good but notgreat. With so many different Mexican restaurants in the vicinity we had a large selection to choose from. The experience washowever very fun. Read more

Good quick seating and service. Nicely positioned to take the kids for a walk in the park if needed. I highly recommend the... Mole Chicken. The kids meals are free when you order a special meal. Read more

Hit this spot before the NLDS #LFGSD! Top notch tequila. Top 5 michelada I've had anywhere. Great...check that, AMAZING... Guacamole. You get a good size portion had to ask for more chips. Which bby the way are also very good, crispy, crunchy verytasty. We also had the sampler platter has a Lil bit of everything. All of it was delicious. Will be going back. Read more

Really excellent service. Food is mediocre to be honest. Cool that kids eat free under 10 years of age. Drinks were... sugary. Stay away from the Carne Asada tacos. Over cooked and very bland. Also, they put cheese on top, which was odd. Read more

I ate there today and it was a good experience. Service was excellent and so was the food. I would go back. Pro tip: If... there a lot of people waiting to be seated, you can skip the line and go straight to the bar. You can order food at the bar andeat there. Read more

We stopped here since the other restaurant nearby was packed but so glad we did!! The atmosphere is as nice, under greenery and... flowers looking out to Old Town San Diego and they have indoor seating options which is a plus over the other one. Chips andguac were awesome and obviously home-made and we shared the steak fajitas and it was packed with flavor!!! Our waitress wasfriendly and attentive and their outfits for their staff and just so cute! Would 100% recommend this place! Read more
