What a cute, eclectic venue specializing in delicious waffles. Their drinks are also good. Although North Park parking can be a... pain, this is in a less dense area so there is usually parking within 2-3 blocks. Read more
The waffles here are as the name states.. Atypical. Their Menu is fairly simple, waffles regular or gluten free with or without... toppings. Additionally there are about 5ish sandwich options that use waffles instead of regular bread. Syrup does not appear tobe an available topping which is fine because the waffles themselves are very tasty and sweet. The coffee is about par for thecourse however it makes a superb combination with the waffles. This was a great way to start my day before heading to the SanDiego Zoo a few minutes away. Read more
I have gone to this restaurant a total of twice and the first time I went it was before the pandemic, it had a different name... ?Wow wow waffle?. I had such a wonderful experience here that many years later I came back and had such an awesome experienceonce again. The place is wheelchair accessible. The person on staff was so nice and super friendly as well as welcoming. I hadthe homemade lemonade, the squirrel jam, the number Seven and chicken nugs & waffles. I really enjoy the eclectic, relaxed vibeas well as the greenery inside. It makes you feel like you aren?t in the middle of the city. Highly recommend for lovers ofbreakfast both sweet and savory. Nice waffles. We both had bacon, cheese, and avocado waffles. I had it as a ?sandwich? Very heavy and greasy! Cool vibe though
