Best lobster roll ever!! Cole slaw was amazing, baked beans were awesome! Dan & Kim are great hosts and really care about the... quality and your experience at their restaurant! Through conversation with Dan, we discovered that his aunt, Mary Watkins (Sgt.Watkins), was my high school English teacher. It was so cool and unexpected to make that discovery and realize how small thisworld is. We are driving down PCH doing a SoCal vacation, and getting a lobster roll was on my trip bucket list. The Lobster Shack was... absolutely amazing - the roll was chock full of lobster, the bread perfectly toasted - and pro-tip grab a spicy lobster sauceand a lobster bisque to dunk the bread!! Lobster Mac and cheese with extra lobster. The owner (I think) was super nice and accommodating. Lobster was plentiful and the... Mac and cheese flavour was great. Two things knocking this down from 5 stars? 1. The cheese sauce needs to be thicker 2. Forthe price the portion needs to be far bigger. Not expecting more lobster, but it?s a small cup not even filled to the top. Also if you are going to eat this for a meal you will be sorely mistaken as the small portion size just makes you hungrier. No doubt foods are yummy- lobster rolls, lobster bisque, and the beans! But they are quite pricey for how small the portions... are and no true dine in sevices (have to sit at the table right next to parking). Small parking lot to share with other stores;it is not easy to find a spot in the lot but street parkings were not too difficult. I was craving clam chowder and this place had good reviews so we stopped here for lunch. Let me start off by saying the owner is... absolutely amazing! As a former business owner, I can say that is how you do business! With a smile, very polite and welcoming.I loved his personality and wish nothing but the best for him and his family <3 Now for the food, oh my goodness it was some ofthe best clam chowder I have ever had! The mac and cheese was amazing as well as the lobster roll! Food was made with qualityingredients and lots of LOVE! I would love a place like this in Tehachapi! Delicious lobster rolls! I ordered the Trio for 2, which included one lobster roll, one crab roll and one shrimp roll. They were... all delicious and tasted fresh, but my favorite one was definitely the lobster roll. The bread was fluffy and complimented themeat perfectly. They were filling as well. The staff was friendly and fast with orders. They have outdoor seating only. I willdefinitely be back for more. Read more
