The worst flame broiler I?ve been to. Multiple large bones in chicken. Chicken was over cooked and barely warm. The rice was... old. It was dirty despite not being busy. They charge $2 for avocado while others charge 1.25-1.50. The hot hot sauce was in abottle that was clogged from not being washed, had to get a fork and clean out the nozzle. The tv was blaring cnn. Bland food, nice service around 4:20 PM. This type of formula places are rarely very good, still loyal customers kept showing... up to pick up food. Vegetables, white rice, and half chicken/half beef. Saw absolutely zero flames, more like a conventionalgrill. 3 Stars. Read more

Flame Broiler has always been my to go place for chicken bowls, Laguna Niguel, Aliso Viejo, Mission Viejo and San Juan... Capistrano. I've never had any issues with the quality of the food. Always fresh and cooked to order. That all changed on SundaySeptember 9, 2018. After Mass we stopped in for a quick dinner we ordered 3 plates of half chicken and half angus beef. When theplates arrived the beef looked old, over cooked. I've had fresher beef (Carne asada) served at El Campion I'm not one to takeback food and complain I've seen what teenagers do to people who complain about their food. I'm writing this because we wereserved food that I believe falls far low from what your standards are set by corporate, customers need to avoid this place. I met a family member here , and did not have lunch...but ended up having some bites of their teriyaki chicken brown rice... bowl.. Which turned out to be very good. Very casual place to get a quick bite or take out and get on your way. The shoppingarea was very congested at noon...and parking was a challenge. I'd will likely go back when at a later hour and check it on theway home from OC. It is an easy on, easy off the freeway. If I had a full meal, I would likely rate it higher. My familymember gets lunch there often because it is good, quick, and inexpensive. He recommeded it highly, and has a big appetite...soit must have merit...and the prices on their menu were modest.
