Not sure what magic they used to create a lean brisket that was as tender as one that is very marbled. Brisket was incredible. ... Slaw was really good. Wife had a drink and she really enjoyed that and her Cuban sandwich. Only recommendation would be tohave a menu that is more detailed around allergens. Chicken soup mix in the mashed potatoes is unexpected, but that means atrip to the emergency room for folks like me. Fantastic BBQ and super friendly service. My wife and I shared a combo plate with an extra side of corn bread. Was perfect size... for us for lunch, and the pulled pork was absolutely our favorite. Definitely going back to try their Cuban sandwich! Read more

We rented out the place for our wedding reception! Madeline took care of everything and made sure the food and drinks were... second to none! Her care and support of our big day was wonderful! Quite possibly the best lunch spot in San Clemente. The BBQ here is the best I've had in Orange County and it's on par with... what you'd get in Austin, Texas. Literally everything is good. The brisket, the pulled pork, the ribs, the sandwiches, thetacos, you cannot go wrong. I couldn't recommend this place enough. FYI, the tacos are not on the menu displayed behind thecounter, they are only on the physical menu you can get at the register. Read more
