I was about to pay and the franchise owner said "wait let me adjust" (added additional charge 50 cents which I thought was... strange). Other locations don't charge additional for hot drinks with no boba. I don't mind paying extra but the last move whenI was about to pay, she added extra fees. I don?t think i?ll be back to this location again :( Waited in line for like 15-20mins (i?m the only one that?s in line at this... time) there?s 4 (crew) + the lady owner i think, we didn?t mind waiting at first but then there?s a sound from their to go ipadand the lady owner started looking at that for like more than 5mins instead of just taking my order first. (At that point i wasalready standing there 10mins+ before the online order came in) After that she went on the side for something before taking myorder. She took my order and i asked if there?s boba on the ube milk tea or do i have to add it Coz on the menu it says taroballs. She went on and on about taiwan happy lemon wanted them to serve taro balls but nobody like taro balls so they change toboba (they should edit their menu) and they said they never have taro balls, so i said it?s okay, i?ll still get it. Then showedmy happy lemon card and she said her machine is new and the reward card system doesn?t work. So again i said ?it?s okay? noworries? She asked if i want a bag, i said no, but i do want a straw, they have a printed sign that says ?STRAWS ARE ON REQUEST?so i did told her that? After paying, she told me to wait that she?ll give me the receipt, so i said sure, she started lookingat the drinks on the side that her crew made, and started giving the orders to doordash while i stood there waiting for thereceipt that was printed the moment she told me to wait. Yum. Like always this place has a pretty good consistency. Didn't like how I tried to do contact-less ordering through door... dash/GrubHub and the prices were a dollar more. Also didn't really like the waffles. They were average. But spot on for theirmilk teas. I got regular milk tea and my friend got the matcha with milk top and loved it. Would be back for sure!
