Cozy, old timer atmosphere.. if you think you're at the best spot.. then you haven't tried Big Joe's 8.. cooked to perfection.... So far I've had sausage/ cheese omelet MMMMMM. and then I had chicken fried steak. I used a fork to cut thru.. yeah, it was thattender.. and the portion size is big. 2 people per plate big. Such a great deal. I ordered the chicken salad and a lemonade. It was only $21, came with delicious bread, unlimited refills of... lemonade and the salad was HUGE! I had enough left over for my lunch the next day. It was so so good too! The staff was sogreat. I was waited on by a young lady and she was so polite and attentive. This is what service should be! Never a disappointment. Lots of wonderful tasting food and great service. Had Western omlette hash browns. Moving back east will... miss the meals. Refilled tea before I needed. Big Joes 8 right outside the airport is wonderful little stop for the hungry during breakfast time. Reminiscent of your local... mom and pop eatery, this quaint restaurant offers a variety of good food. I got the steak and eggs combo with hashbrowns andsourdough. The steak was cooked well and the hashbrowns were very good. My wife got the eggs florentine which was delicious,especially mixed in with the sourdough. The portion size is appropriate for the price. All in all if I'm ever back at the SanFrancisco Airport I will be stopping back at Big Joe's 8. Read more

Large portions of delicious food. My 3 egg omelette looked like ot was more than 3 eggs. The chicken cheese and avocado was just... the way I would have made it. The scrambled eggs and hashbrowns and sausage were ame amounts. Overall great experience andexcellent service. Read more
