I've really never had a bad piece of fish here. You get double-dipped cod fillets that are hot and crisp, yet tender. I enjoy... the hushpuppies as well. One of the last H-Salts around. The elderly couple owners retired recently. Thanks to the family forkeeping it going! Read more
I haven't been in a few years but I was reading their reviews and had to put in my two cents. I have been coming to this... location for about 25 years. They have not ever disappointed! They are unmatched in their taste and texture in comparison toplaces like LJS. I wish that I didn't live so far away. Although I'm in the I.E., I'm still at least 30 minutes away with goodtraffic. Nonetheless, there are days when I must put on my big girl panties and fight the traffic so that I can enjoy thisdelicious food. Read more

I've been coming to H Salt Fish and Chips for many, many years. It's my go to place for Fish and Chips!! This local business is... top notch. Friendly staff, clean tables to sit down, classic 80s arcade games, and delicious seafood. I always get the Big Benhere. Four good sized pieces of fish and fries. Great fish and chips"onion rings" Deep fried zucchini also. My son liked the lrg. Shrimp also. Coleslaw is good too.
I've been eating H Salt Fish & Chips from way back in my high school days. It's still one of my all time favorite meals I can... find even today, 40+ years later. Every location is still basically 70's type decorated and the recipe, to my knowledge has notchanged a bit. This location (San Bernardino) the staff very nice and friend (family owned). Small location and dining roomstill out dated. The food, in my eyes the best. I do have to admit, a little greasy but still worth it. I feel it's one of thosethings, you either like it or not. I say give a try and see for yourself. Read more
