Great building, fantastic service, excellent bar drinks, ok food. The spinach dip was amazing and the Reuben sandwich was top... notch. The fish was decent but the chips were half cooked. 1st, a pub, Irish or not, wouldn?t be my 1st choice for dinner. But my wife likes Irish-style food. So the food was really... excellent - Guinness Stew for my wife and Shepherds Pie with Cheese for myself. However, I just don?t enjoy the noisyenvironment and the unclean feeling I get when touching the tables and chairs. They do play some decent modern music and havelive entertainment nightly, which I?m not really in to. We tried this place while in town for a early dinner and a few drinks. We were greeted by Julian the bartender who was very... friendly and helpful so we sat at the bar. They had live music and the performer was very good. We ordered the Irish SausageSandwich with Potato and Leek Soup, both were very delicious. Julian knew how to pour a Guinness Ale. We wound up meeting newfriends and sharing stories with each other like a true Irish Pub. Everyone who worked there was very friendly and helpful. Therestaurant and restrooms were very clean. We will return to this place every time we are in the area and we told some friends ofours who also went. Read more
