Ordered from Grubhub. 2 stars only because of the large portion and the price. Other than that just no. There were jalapeños in... EVERYTHING so naturally it was all spicy. Cream corn should have some hint of the sweetness from the corn but no the jalapeñosoverpowered it. The beans were just not for me. The cornbread was extremely dry and again way over done with jalapeños. I?mstill confused about the ?cobbler? I received. It wasn?t cobbler it was old cinnamon twist donuts and maybe some old applefritters, so glad I spend $3.29 on that. I can?t give much of a review on the meat I order because of how spicy everything elsewas my nose was running and I couldn?t taste anything. I get it jalapeños is the personality everybody around here wants totake on but there should be a balance of the sweet, smoky, and spicy but this place isn?t even close to finding it. Read more

This is barbecue. From. A. Freaking GROCERY STORE. Keep that in mind. Now, by that standard, it's pretty good. I had a sandwich... with half a pound of brisket (yes, that's correct) and sausage. It would also normally come with cole slaw, but I'm not a slawperson. The brisket was tasty and tender, if only mildly smoky. The sausage wasn't bad either. Sauce was good. I feel that a lot of people don't give this a chance since it's located inside HEB. I believe this is one of San Antonio's best... kept secrets. I always go with the 3 meats plate, that way I can make 2 meals from it. I love the brisket and most of the time Iget the lean brisket. At times though, it can be extremely dry and that's why I give them 4 stars. The smoked chicken, turkeyand sausage are always full of flavor. The dudes are just as good. If you're in the area and you're looking for some BBQ, stopby here, I'm sure you would enjoy it. Read more
We had a delicious lunch there. We had a loaded potato with chopped brisket and a meat plate with lean brisket, potato salad,... and the baked beans. Everything was delicious. Read more
By the way this is inside the HEB on Potranco n 1604 The plates are a little pricey. U will be better off buying a family meal... if there if you.feeding 4 to 6 people. The brisket was good but the turkey was a little dry I guess from being kept in thewarmers all day. But the best side dish is the cream corn it has a little kick but delicious.. Read more
I hear they have good BBQ but they have totally incompetent service. We ordered at 5 pm for a pickup at 6:30pm. Got there at... 6:25pm and stood in line for 30 minutes with only 4 people in front of me. It seems their behind the counter conversations tookprecedence over helping customers. When it was finally my time at the counter they looked at the order that had come in 2 HOURSprior and said we are out of all the meat that was in the order but that I could buy the single slab of ribs and the last 1.5lbs of turkey they had (neither ribs nor turkey was part of our order. After another 10 minutes I finally got a refund. Myadvice would be to not use their online ordering and only order after you get there. And be prepared for a long wait. Read more
