I love this restaurant, and always feel content eating here. A level of calm really descends on you as you eat, especially if... you eat outside. I don't know if it's the water wall, being surrounded by plants or the koi pond. The atmosphere is incredible.I love the food options and try to try a new dish each time, though my favorites are the Spring rolls, Thai Beef Noodle Soup andMassaman Curry. Read more

Tong's Thai is one of my favorite Thai restaurants in San Antonio. It's a cozy place near the Austin highway. Ample parking... space and easy to locate, they offer outdoor and indoor seating. They only take reservations for a big group. We sat outdoorsnext to the fish pond, it was such a relaxing time watching the fishes and enjoying our dinner. The service is good and theservers are very helpful. Coming to the most important part - food. We had decided not to have regular curry and noodles and sowe tried other items. The pan fried dumplings were good, we got the chicken and veggies. The Pad Se-Ew came with flat noodleseggs and the perfect Soy garlic sauce, we got it with chicken. It was delicious and worth trying. The portion size was large andcan be shared between two. I tried the Khao Soy after a very long time, it comes with a curry made in coconut milk, noodles,lettuce, fried noodles, cilantro, onion and lemons. Its huge and heavy with we really enjoyed it. Great food! I think is great place for a small group like family size. I had an Thai Ice Tea, it was really good, great balance... of tea, milk and ice. ???????? I ordered Pad Wun Sen (Lunch Special). The food was delicious, everything was cooked toperfection. I added some hot chili ???? to the food to make give it a balance spice. Delicious food and outstanding service! The food had beautiful presentation and was hot and flavorful. Very well kept restaurant... both inside and out with a pleasant ambiance and more space than it appears to have from the outside. The parking lot for therestaurant itself is small and it seems to fill quickly however, right next door at Bun n? Barrel there is additionalparking. I?ve tried many Thai restaurants in my day and this is definitely top 3 for me. 10/10. Will definitely be back anddefinitely recommend to friends! Read more
