I loved the Spicy miso tantan-men, pictured, I got the medium heat and it was flavorful . Not too much spice to the point you... can?t enjoy the food. The service was great, polite and quick. Would rate 5 stars but my girlfriend said the ramen was just ok. Read more
Ramen was well executed. The noodles had a nice amount of spring in the bite. Chashu pork was a little strange (more like a... thick piece of deli meat than a traditional chashu cut) but the other elements were good. Sunomono (cucumber salad) was reallyunderwhelming. There was no rice vinegar at all and the cucumber slices were dry. The kitchen needs to redo that dish fromscratch. Kimchi had a nice mix of vegetables - could benefit from just a little more gochugaru or gochujang for somespice. Quick service and nice location. Read more
Went to the Pearl and came across this ramen place and decided to try it. I got the Tokyo Shoyu, and I enjoyed it. The portion... size is just right and I was able to leave full. It came with a single, large piece of cha shu that was very tasty andflavorful. I also got the miso popcorn buttered Edamame, which was pretty unique and tasted delicious. Highly recommend you totry this one. Read more
We ordered the Tokyo Shoyu ramen, Okonomiyaki fries and fried chicken nuggets. Their portions were huge especially the ramen! I... guess I've eaten at several amazing ramen places and this restaurant doesn't stand out to me. I do like their dipping sauce totheir chicken nuggets though ???? Read more
I had the Tokyo Shoyou Ramen and the portion is great for two people. I think it was good but the pork has a lot of fat and the... ramen broth is pretty greasy so make sure you have a soda with you. Read more
This place doesn?t have very good ramen. The noodles were flaky and undercooked, giving me the impression that this... establishment is run by uncultured people trying to make ramen. The broth was extremely salty and the chashu pork was bland, dry, and rubbery. If the establishment uses pork loin instead of pork belly and claims it is ?chashu? without changing theprice, that is very off-putting. I didn?t want to be too harsh, but to call this Tokyo Style Shoyu ramen would be a joke.Costco?s frozen shoyu ramen was far superior in every way. Every other item we got from this place was equally subpar but I?mnot going to waste any more time writing this review. I don?t see this place lasting very long without any drastic improvements. The ramen itself is not amazing but it was done surprisingly fast. Of course it is not authentic Japanese ramen but well. I... enjoyed a beautiful view of pearl brewery while eating ramen. Read more
