Food was ok. Service was really poor. I paid almost $40 for two plates, two twas, and two tacos. And the cashier told me that... there was a gratuity charge. But for what? My waitresses didn't really tend to us or anything. And my brother paid seperate forhim and his guest and he paid $32 for the exact same thing! Minus the tacos! Decided to try this restaurant after plan A fell through. I'm glad we decided to try this place. Taqueria Mi Chapala Jalisco... has chips and salsa with complimentary queso, they do put chopped jalapenos in which makes it a little spicy. The salsa has abigger impact with the heat ????. The inside dining room looks just like it did when another restaurant occupied the space. Both hubby and I ordered the cheese ???? enchilada plate ????. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time and very hot????, temperature ???? wise. The rice was very tasty, the beans were flavorful the enchiladas were delicious. Hubby likes hot???? hot ???? sauce and was very impressed with the heat. We will definitely be eating here again. Read more

The food is always great but the ladies who work there..every single one of them. Needs an attitude adjustment and matter of... fact should all just be fired and replaced!! They are all so entirely rude and disrespectful and beyond unprofessional it's ashame!! They forget that they should be grateful and that they are representing that restaurant by the services they provide.With that being said... It makes me not want to visit this place because every time I walk in there I'm instantly reminded ofwhy exactly I don't like going there in the first place. And 9 out of 10 times my order is in one way or another wrong!! Orincomplete. But being as it's less than a block away from my house, the convenience of it has me coming back more than I wouldeven like to. The man who works the counter sometimes is super nice, friendly and professional and they should all be trained byhim IMHO. i always hear the same complaints by everyone I know who visits this restaurant. It's such a shame really because it'sa nice establishment with great food. Although a bit over priced , the service these woman provide is giving the bad name andreputation they currently hold in the community. I hope they can fix this problem!!! It's been here a long time from what Iknow, and def. Needs a over haul of servers if they can't get it right. And fast!! Waiter was new but very nice and helpful. Food was good and I asked if they could make a breakfast burrito instead of taco and... they were happy to do it. Tortillas are homemade. Pancakes were the size of dinner plates. Everybody enjoyed their food. Itwas a little expensive but you get what you pay for. Read more

Off post, close to Fort Sam Houston's New Braunfels Gate. Wow. Inexpensive prices, great food, and awesome complimentary queso,... salsa (a little extra spicy but so good!), and chips. Friendly service too. Highly recommended! Read more

Great breakfast spot right outside of the New Braunfels gate of JBSA-FT Sam Houston. Quick service and nice generous tacos.
