First time to Tanks and it was very good. First off, the environment was very friendly, the waitress was very attentive and very... sweet. She immediately greeted us, and got our drinks and order in a very timely manner. The table we choose to sit at was twosmall tables placed together for a 4top and both of them were wobbly which was bothersome but not detrimental to our visit.Unfortunately, my partner has a auditory sensitivity, and the music was a bit loud for our tastes. We ordered mozzarella sticks,a Cesar salad, and a personal cheese pizza with pepperoni and mushrooms. The mozzarella sticks were perfectly cooked andseasoned. The Caesar salad did come with mozzarella cheese instead of Parmesan and ranch dressing instead of Caesar which was abit disappointing, but my partner didn?t want to send back so we enjoyed it. The pizza was perfect!! The sauce was not too heavyor lite, it was deliciously seasoned, the cheese to crust ratio was on point, and the crust was cooked perfectly. I'm really upset I have not visited sooner. My food was served piping hott and was Excellent. I ordered a personal pepperoni... pizza and a half order of lemon pepper and a half order of spicy lemon pepper wings. (Yes all that was just for me) SOGOOD!!! Drinks were PERFECTLY POTENT YET TASTY and THEIR HAPPY HOUR PRICING makes them REORDER WORTHY. Will be even more of avibe when the outdoor area is finalized. Read more
My friend brought me for an impromptu late dinner. This place is great, from the vibe to the food. This pizza has one of the best crusts I?ve had in very long time, although the sauce could afford to be a little more flavor for... that, very much appreciated, oomph. The staff was nice and friendly, and I even had the opportunity to meet the owner, Michael,and he was so welcoming. Next time we come back to SA we will be coming back. Read more
Unfortunately this was one of the worst pizza experiences I?ve ever had. Off the rip very good service. Hostess was polite & the... vibe was dope. The food that came out is another situation overall. Didn?t get a receipt for what I paid for which isdisappointing from a business that?s been in action for 10 years. The kitchen got busy after I placed my order of two pizzas &wings. Was very specific in the toppings & what came out was a plain cheese pizza instead of the pepperoni that was ordered.These kinds of mistakes are just costly & the first experience is ruined overall. Honestly expected better from this placeconsidering how much solid info that came from my inner circle. This was the first time trying out this place. We had high expectations from all the amazing reviews and praises towards the... food. Unfortunately, for us it was a miss. Not to mention, a very pricey disappointment. The atmosphere is comfortable androomy. The music that was being played was extremely loud, to the point we couldn't hear each other. Not to mention, the personmessing with the music would only let about a min of a song play before changing it to another tune. It became annoying afterawhile. The restrooms were clean and well kept. The staff that we encountered are really kind and personable. If I was onlyrating based on the employees, then I would give this place 5 stars. Now the main course... the food. We decided to try a fewof the well reviewed items according to the commenters below. We ordered: Medium Works Pizza, meatball sub, spaghetti withmeatballs, cheese sticks, and 2 sweet teas. Where to begin? The pizza was wet and floppy (what one would call a NY style). Ithad a lot of ingredients which ended up falling off when you tried to pick up and fold. It had an off smell to it that made ourstomach turn. The meatball sub look nothing like the prior pictures I've seen from other people. The bread was inedible becauseit was too hard to bite into. The meatballs were dried out and had no flavor. Spaghetti with meatballs... the presentationlooked amazing and the scent from the spices and herbs spread across the rim of the plate was heavenly. Sadly, the pasta had noflavor and the marinara sauce was dry... same description of the meatball goes for these too. We ordered cheese sticks but gota cheese bread instead. It had way too much olive oil on it which took over the flavor of any other herb that might have been onthat bread not to mention made it feel like it was soaked in grease. Delicious. I will always come here for pizza and spread the word about this establishment. The wings were so good and tasted... fresh. I love the message from the owner about why he started Tanks and the significance of owning a pizzeria. Tanks does needto increase their marketing and invest it in. Join local business groups and network to grow. When there are events, printflyers and post them. The customer service is not bad, but it?s a little too laid back. Customers are still customers.
