Inspect & Taste the food often for flavor & consistency. I?m sorry to leave a bad review but I hate to waste my money. I... visited on 9/29/22 and invited a friend to have a margarita. The margaritas were fine but my friend did mention they only had ascant amount of alcohol compared to another location we visit from time to time to chat and have drinks and chips. The beefenchilada plate was a disaster. I like my enchiladas smothered in brown delicious gravy. TC offered a Tex Mex gravy, whichtasted like it was 90% salt and covered 30% of the enchiladas. It was hard to swallow. I didn?t bring it to their attention,because the woman at the register was not approachable, and I did not want to create a big issue and spoil the visit with myfriend. The rice was hard on he top and beans were bland thankfully, because the TexMex gravy had enough sodium for abuffet. Someone should be inspecting and tasting the food religiously , especially if it sits there for a period of time. ThenI remembered, this is why I usually stick with margaritas, chips, and queso , and a beef fajita taco. It?s a shame because TC isiconic to San Antonio and should represent better. Read more
Very bad experience today at the 1604 and culebra location. Ordered 2 enchiladas plates and they were very salty. Manager was... rude and did nothing for us. We will no longer go to this location and we spent about $60. I would put zero stars if possible. Read more
Stopped in for lunch. Haven't had a Cabana bowl for awhile. Was disappointed that borracho beans are no longer available to... substitute for refried beans. Otherwise all was great. Read more
Ordered a ground beef burrito combo while my wife was shopping. Was over $10 and my burrito had no ground beef but 3x the... refried beans and lettuce. To make it worse the rice in it was crunchy. In an area filled with competition, they are not eventrying. Read more
Do not take your family here, go across the highway for your Mexican food. This place has horrible customer service. I called to... let them know my order was wrong and after about 20 calls they finally answered. I let the worker know my salad was all whitepieces and no chicken was put onto my plate. The worker tells me that he will that he will get the manager. I hear him talkingto the manager and they start laughing and make fun of my problem. I get put on hold even though the manager heard my problemand was never helped too. District manager needs to Re-evaluate this location and get proper training done on food that theywould eat. We came here on August 19th for the first time and it will probably be the last time too. We were very disappointed. The... taquitos were way over fried and burnt. The chicken quesadillas were horrible. Most of them only had one small piece of chickenand a small sprinkle of cheese. Most of the chicken that was on them were way over cooked or burnt. It's like they did not wantto cook any chicken so they used old scrap pieces. The tables were dirty, so we had to clean a table before we could sit down.It was dinner time and they were not busy, so they had plenty of time to clean the tables and cook good fresh food. The food is close to Tex-Mex food. I always enjoy eating. I especially love their nachos. Tje atmosphere is Mexican music.
