It was ok. You are going more for the vibes. Food was ok. Not worth it in my opinion. Fries were good though and the portion for... the chicken & waffles was huge. Loved the music, the looks. My biggest complaint was the service though. Our waitress was verynice, but the service was not. We sat waiting for our drinks ( all of us had water and 1 diet pepsi) for a good 15 minutes. Oncethey finally came we ordered. Food came out quick. Then we sat there waiting 45 mins to pay. We really considered dine anddashing, but that is karma that we did not want. When we saw our waitress again we asked for the check. 15 mins later shebrought it, my card was ready and off she went. 15 mins came and went so I stood up and was looking for her. Cannot locate her.A couple next to us asked if I too was waiting for my card and I stated yes. Another 20 mins later she materialize. Finally ableto leave the dang place. To me, it is just not worth it. I don't not mind dropping $$$ on food if it's good. This place, youare better off going to Chili's. They actually have flavor. Read more

Great experience!! I have visited other Sugar Factories and San Antonio did not disappoint. There was a lot of birthday... celebrations (it was a Saturday) and I loved the way they turned up for those. I highly suggest reservations, as this locationon the River Walk is definitely a high traffic area. Our food came out quick (my wings a little to quick), but they made thatright. ???? Nice cozy atomsphere. The food was good. We had to wait about 15 minutes after we were seated.. It was busy but our waiter Chris... was very helpfully. He mention to us that he works nights so this was his first tine doing brunch. He was a good sport and tookgoos care of us. This was our first time to a Sugar Factory! We decided to celebrate my daughter's 22nd birthday dinner here. We went on a... Thursday around 4ish. It seem to be a perfect time, because it was not busy at all. Where do I begin? First the atmosphere waswonderful, the music was pretty much Hip hop and R&B (super upbeat if you like that genre of music). The restaurant was supercute and classy. As far as the menu, take your time looking at it. It can get pretty pricey and add up super quickly with onedrink and food. Be prepared to spend at least $100 per person. They do not have a kids menu so we order a side of fries and thechicken tenders from the appetizers and had my 2 youngest share. Overall the food was delicious. The drink were delicious aswell!! Okay, now for our waiter. I can't begin to say enough about Torrance. Not only was he super welcoming, he was superfunny, friendly, charming and outgoing. He treated us with so much respect and was authentic and didn't treat us like anothertip. We left him $120 Tip. He earned ever bit of it!!! BEWARE OF THE 22% SERVICE CHARGE THAT WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE ADDED TOYOUR BILL THATS NOT INCLUDING GRATUITY ????. GRATUITY WAS SEPARATE.
