Restaurant was a little busy but so was the river walk so I guess it was too be expected. Wasn’t any wait time to sit at the... bar. Football game was on so I was entertained until my food came out. The salad came quick and was good. Shortly after my steakand potatoes came. I ordered mash potatoes but baked potatoes came out. No big deal because the bartender corrected itimmediately. Overall the food was good, restaurant was clean and I eat there again if I’m in town. Read more
Seating was quick and attentive, service was top notch and knowledgeable. The Rattlesnake poppers were a good blend of slight... heat and a cool ranch dip to offset the spiciness. I've never heard of these restaurants until I visited this one. I can understand why it was so busy after eating there. The food... was out of this world and cooked to perfection. The staff was very friendly and gave great personal recommendations for thosethat have never been. Like most places that have a bar they allow you to sit at the bar while you wait for a table and it helpedwith the experience. For the food you got and the high quality of it, it was worth every penny I paid. I have nothing but goodthings to say and even better memories with this restaurant. Have ate at many river walk restaurants, but had not tried this one yet. We simply chose this one because it would be new to us... and it looked like they had plenty of available outdoor seating. It took a little bit to get a waiter present, but once someonecame out, he was pretty consistent at checking with us. The meals we ordered were steak and mashed potatoes and steak & shrimpwith a baked potato. Both came with salads. Salads were good, but nothing to note above a salad at a similar place. Steaks wereboth cooked to the desired amount and tasted very good. Shrimp was also very good. So were the potato’s of both kinds ordered.Over all was a nice meal, a quiet evening, as there were few seated outside (a little cooler out), and a very calm and beautifulsetting right along side the river walk. Very good! The view with an outside table on the River Walk was very nice. Viola did a great job serving us. My wife and I asked... for an extra plate so we could split the meal between us. They split it very nicely for us; no charge. My portion of steak had alot of gristle, which can come with the territory. But Venicio, the manager quickly replaced it with a perfect steak. Today I ate my favorite chicken fried chicken with gravy and mashed potatoes with gravy. It came with the choice of a salad or... potato soup. I picked the potato soup and it did not disappoint. It was very flavorful. The service was great and theatmosphere was just as I remembered. We picked to eat outside on the top patio. This was an awesome choice since the weatherwas so nice outside. One steakhouse that never disappoints me!!! We are Landry Select members. The reason being you can have a decent meal at any... location at any time and you will never be disappointed. Consistency of excellence. They have a location at the River walk. Sowe got the table outside near the River Walk. So the dining was really pleasant. Our server was very attentive and made ourexperience excellent. Our steaks came out perfect. This location can use some tender loving care. This place way overdue for arenovation. Read more
We stopped in for lunch and waited at the bar for an outside table to be available. The bartender was very friendly. They have... frozen Crown and Coke that is oh so good! Was sat at our table but even though two waitresses walked by no one stopped to takeour order. My husband finally walked to the hostess stand and come to find out our table was not assigned to anyone. When ourwaitress arrived she took our food and drink order. She wasn’t very attentive. My food came out pretty warm but not hot and myhusband‘s food came out cool. He sent his back and they took care of it and it came out piping hot. The Mac and cheese isreally good and creamy. The T bone was cooked perfect and with the garlic butter and lots of flavor. Clean bathroom. I want togive 5 stars for the taste of food but two stars for service, so they get a 3 star. T bone steak with Mac & cheese -delicious Ribs and chicken - really good Frozen Crown & coke $10 Draft beer $6.75 Would go back. Read more
