I had the shane o mac taco which is waffle battered chicken strips with maple syrup and i gotta say it was delicious. Different... but delicious. When you go to this place please try the specialty tacos, atleast 1. The restaurant was clean and service wasspectacular. Read more
Really wanted to like this place. The menu looked great. I had the Seoul, The Irish and the Norteno. The Seoul taco was a... huge hunk of meat instead of Bulgogi should be thinly cut strips of meat. The soft drinks were not mixed properly. Therestaurant was too warm, they either need more fans to circulate air or a stronger AC. The restaurant has potential and i?lltry them again in a few months. Hopefully my visit was an off day for the restaurant. Read more
The ambiance was great! Love the vibe of this place. Easy to get in and out of, easy to order. I wish they had an available... menu explaining all the specialty tacos. The cashier let our group share her cheat sheet, but it was the only one. The foodwas not bad, but the tacos were a bit plain - The Nashville needed more vinegar (way more pickled peppers). The chicken wasquality white meat, hot and well battered but a bit flavorless - it probably needed a bit of salt. The al pastor was also a bitbland. The meat was high quality and was well grilled but a bit dry. The taco also also could have used more cilantro andonion and even a lime or some green salsa on the side to add a bit of extra sour/sweet/spice. I?ll try this place again butlikely go for different tacos. Read more
Amazing tacos! The NOLA was stuffed delicious grilled shrimp and deep fried okra that tasted fresh! I would order the fried okra... as a side if they offered it. The beef in the Seoul got a thumbs up from my Korean husband. Both were a great value! The beanand cheese 2 for 92 cents special was a good basic taco. The flour tortillas were soft and fresh. I only held one star backbecause the service was slow by taco standards. However the staff was friendly and stayed on top of it. We will definitely goback for more! Read more

A lousy location and rough building hide a real gem of a taco shack. My wife and I ordered four speciality tacos and were served... with fresh, made to order food in less than fifteen minutes, which I felt was very reasonable for tacos that included corn beef, fried ocra, and shrimp. The shrimp in particular impressed, being cooked pretty well to perfection. Most places in San Antonio, even dedicated sea food places with premium prices, overcook their shrimp but these were tender and juicy. Overall this was avery pleasant experience. My main critiques of the food were that the sausage and egg taco I subsequently ordered after enjoyingthe main course was a little on the greasy side (but I only noticed it after the fact, not when I was eating it) and the shrimptaco had a little too much sauce but not so much that it ruined the meal, just made it awkward to eat. I look forward to goingback but I hope the owners are saving up for a better location that's both more accessible and more upscale. Read more
