My experience at Ruth’s Chris Steak House at La Cantera has been exceptional from the first day I walked in. With excellent... service, attentive staff, and amazing food options, this is my go to steak restaurant in all of San Antonio. My personalfavorite has been the cowboy ribeye. I love this restaurant for the way the meat is prepared and most importantly, the fact thatthe food stays hot while I eat. I have personally refused to eat steak anywhere else while in this great city of San Antonio.Big shoutout to Chef Matt, Manager Ashley, Anthony, Chris, Brandon and the entire team. Dear Ruth Chris Steak Houses Owners, I would like to write a short paragraph of simply how and why we had such a good time. The... food choice of the establishment is a big variety of steaks, beefs, lambs, lobsters, and many more delicious items. My familyand I visited the restaurant on behalf of my grandmas birthday. She was so happy to revisit one of the most beautiful restrauntsin town. We were accompanied by our server, "Roselio" He was the most humourous and entertaining server we had. I am currentlyvegetarian in efforts to loose weight, and I requested no bacon on my baked potato; the food was brought out and Roselio said,"here is your baked potato with extra bacon" The whole tabe laughed and I was laughing too. Roselio is by far the best waiterI've had at any restaurant so far. I loved everything, but the price was... Up there, for a table of 5 it costed almost half agrand! Me being a teenager working at sixflags for 9$ an hour it made my mouth drop. The food was mediocre for the expectationsset up from the atmosphere and price. Was the food bad? NO, IT WAS GOOD! But was it worth ~ 100$ a person? No... But Roseliomade the whole experience worth it! I personally have no idea how much effort the whole crew put into the food, but let me tellyou one thing- If Roselio wasn't our Waiter the whole experience would of been a flop. Read more

4 birthday guys having our annual birthday meal at Ruth Chris La Cantera. Nice location off I-10. We had 4pm reservation right... when they opened on a Saturday afternoon. Tables was decorated with birthday decorations. Service and staff were very good.Everyone was friendly and helpful. 3 of us had ribeye. 2 of us had the 1lb loaded baked potato 2 had au gratin potatoes. Otherguy had lamb chops. Our steaks were cooked great. Unfortunately chops were over cooked. They took them back and brought himbetter cooked chops. Prices are a bit steep for the common guy but once a year it's fun to do with friends celebratingbirthdays. Read more

We had a wonderful date night and the salads and steaks are totally worth every penny! They even accommodated my boyfriend's... favorite whiskey! ????
