As far as vegan fast food goes, Project Pollo is fantastic! The Deluxe chicken sandwich is my fave! One of my favorite things is... participating in their rewards program, you get coupons for free stuff all the time! I think I've gotten one every week. They'veeven done free sandwiches (vs just fries or a shake) multiple times! The points add up super fast too. I highly recommendProject Pollo, whether you're vegan or not. Pretty dang good. This is fast food, so don't expect a sit down restaurant. That being said, the place is clean, the food is... good, and the employees are nice. The shakes are dang good. If you walk in and need a few minutes, order a shake. Enjoy theshake and relax. Then order the Original Project and eat it all up. Then get another shake. This was my first try at a vegan restaurant. I've heard that of all the plant-based meat replacements, the one that was done the... best was chicken. This restaurant is a great example of that. Their chicken sandwich stands alongside most chicken sandwiches.The flavor is great and if I was never told that it was plant-based, I would've never known. I ordered the deluxe sandwich witha side of mac and cheese, and a drink. My only criticism is the price, which came to about $16 for one person. Read more

I think it is one of the best plant-based (vegan) fast food in San Antoni, Texas, USA. The burger was very satisfying. The... chicken nuggets are full of flavor; however, they are salty. The prices are comparable to regular fast food chains. Read more
Just found out about these guys and made the trip up all the way from the east side to try them! Their food blew me away! It's... so good, in my mind they are now vying for the number one spot of best vegan food in San Antonio. We got the original project,the deluxe project and the loaded papas. These fries are amazing and the sauce they use on them my husband says matchesChikfila's sauce exactly! These guys are 100% #vegan but you can't tell as the "chicken" is batter fried so well and is socrispy. I wish they were closer to me and then I could visit every day. But I will have to stick to weekends and make the drive.The food is amazing! Five stars!! Read more
It's a little dive. Loved the sandwiches. Not really a sit down place, love that it's ALL vegan. Fries were delicious. Ice maker... was broken, that's stupid for a restaurant. Would I go back? Definitely yes, but I would pickup not eat there. Read more
