We had such a wonderful lunch here today. The Vietnamese Sandwich I ordered was really good and fresh, and my friend ordered the... Spucy Hawaiian and said it was the best sandwich she's ever had in her life. Great wine, great service. Axel was the bestwaiter, really sweet and happy we enjoyed our food. This place has been a mainstay of ours for many years because of the perfect intersection of geography, well made food and... price! We used to drag all our friends there and many of them have become regulars! The Vietnamese beef salad is a perfectexample of the with the thinly sliced beef meeting a perfect bite with the Jasmine rice, green lettuce and the spicy anddelicious Ginger dressing. Lately the food has gone down in quality in my opinion with be prices being quite out of sync ( Imean 16 bucks for a beef taco plate.... Really!) with the quality really dropping! Had salmon on a salad a few days ago and bygod not only was it a tail end piece, but overcooked beyond blazes. Too bad the expansion has not been perfect. We were pressed for time for lunch having traveled from out of town for a medical appointment and needed a place that was dog... friendly. They were short on staff during the busy lunch and doing the best they could, but once I explained our situation andshortness of time, Rick (manager/owner) said they could do it and made it happen that we got our food in time and out the doorin time to make out appointment. They also brought out water for our dog which was refreshing (no pun intended lol). Food wasgood and the deserts looked amazing! Flavor: B Service: A+ Tea: B Solo dining: A At the recommendation of my server, I got the skinny bacon pizza. It looked awesome... and I appreciated the unique creation. But unfortunately, it was way too spicy for me. Now I'm kind of a wimp when it comes tospice but I was in sweats and tears after a few bites. Perhaps next time I can request a different sauce than the tomatillosalsa base. The orange dreamsicle cake was another unique creation and I loved every bite. We stopped here on a Friday night after a glowing recommendation from someone. We were asked if we had a reservation (we... didn't) and then asked if eating inside was OK (it was). ???? The bread they started us with was really yummy. The shrimptacos were super delicious. The spinach strawberry salad was just what you'd expect. And the Italian cake was great. Ourserver didn't pay too much attention to us (I am in need of frequent water refills). It was freezing (I shivered for like anhour after). ???? And it was kinda expensive. We've been coming here for years and I realized that I had not reviewed this place. Pam's is a delicious, friendly and... consistent restaurant. They have good meal choices and we have never made a wrong choice. They have salads, soups, hot or coldsandwiches, pizzas and even nachos. Their ordering format has changed, they now offer table service with indoor and outdoordining. Their portion sizes are generous so you can order a half portion or a full portion for leftovers. Their food is madefresh as you order it and it shows. I recommend that you bring someone with you, order two different items and share so that youcan try 2 different entrees. The torta valencia is highly recommended and you cannot forget the delicious and quenching naturalstrawberry lemonade. We have also tried their Thai Soup (Tom Kha) and Tomato soup which are very very delicious. They rotatetheir soups so they may not be available every day.
