We were here July 9th weekend and I have to say after 1 meal here, we ate here exclusively all weekend!!! First shout out is to... Julie who was at the bar shucking oysters... This woman needs a raise and should be out in front of customers all the time! Shemade both our weekends with great conversations, service and food! I am pregnant and she designed a seafood platter catered tomy needs!!!! She was the #1 reason we returned as much as we did!!! I can't wait to go back and see her again in Sept.!!!! Andy, the manager, was amazing as well! He approved all substitutions for me and even listened to my thoughts and ideas on how to makea mommy-to-be spa weekend even better at Mokara Spa! "Mokara-Mommy-Mocktails" should become a thing!!! Jon , the executive souschef, was awesome in preparing our food all weekend and even came out to see if we liked our meals. They met any specialrequests I had which made me feel amazing!!! On to the food! My first taste was a baby-moon chocolate mousse that was deliveredto our room.... I loved it so much I ended up ordering more the next few nights! The wedge salad was so fresh and delicious andwas the first of my orders at Ostra with special requests that kept me coming back all weekend! For breakfast on my mommy-to-bespa day, I had a fruit bowl, which was huge, yogurt and some toast! For lunch, my husband and I ate a chicken caesar salad withextra croutons, a shrimp cocktail and the fish and chips basket! Again, my special requests for my salad were met noproblem!!! I had a five-layer chocolate torte cake for a mid afternoon snack and the slice was huge, rich and very decadent! Wehad some of the cevieche and Julie even added avocado to the mix!!! The seafood platter is a must try! Since I cannot have rawoysters, Julie customized our platter with a few oysters for my husband to enjoy and more items that I could have whilepregnant.... I was so touched by this because they really care about their customers!!! I ate so much shri Read more

Umm... where do I start my husband and I were so excited about trying to this place because it was attached to our hotel, but I... definitely feel like we could found a way better place on the riverwalk. This space is way overrated for sure. I had the ceasarsalad to start with and I was not impressed with the flavor of the dressing and I'm a ceasar salad fanatic. And my fish entréedid not have any flavor whatsoever. My husband said his chicken was just ok. So if you are looking for good food this is not thespot and not too mention it is very pricey. I would not go back or recommend to anyone. Read more

Nice location, quality food, good drinks and best of all, its not a tourist trap. Was tired of seeing bad food with high... reviews. Overall it was a nice experience but nothing memorable. Probably one of maybe 2 best options on the strip. The pricewas about 15-18% above its worth in my opinion but the real estate likely commands it. Carpaccio was amazing and we shared thesteak and lobster plate which was nicely presented for us on separate dishes. We also ordered a side of mushrooms. Read more

Basic hotel bar. The service was a horror. Bartender never came back to see if we needed refills. The water was horrid. Needs to... be filtered. Wanted to order dinner but they got our appetizers wrong, so we didn’t stay. They didn’t even come get outcredit card that we tried to give the bartender 3 times. Finally we got her attention. We have no desire to ever come back. Read more

We came for Valentine's Day so they had a select menu, I was disappointed that there was no lobster on the menu. Nicholas the... waiter did a great job. The food that I did order was delicious. The paloma drink was missing something it was not the best. The streak was nice and juicy per my husband and my pasta shrimp dish was flavorful. But the oysters are the best. I just had3 to test try and I loved them. Read more

My Family and I went here to have a New Year’s dinner. The Food was well presented and also tasted amazing. However the Service... was ok. First of all, after eating the entrees we waited for our desserts, then we see the plates brought to us with the wrongdessert.Adding to what just happened he brought it in a hurry and without saying a single thing. My mom was going to ask why hedid not bring the correct desserts, but he was at the table beside us, having a conversation. and then ignores my mom andleaves. In my opinion that is very lazy for a waiter to do. We payed $700 total for this dinner and I do not recommend cominghere during New Year’s Eve. Read more

Dined here 8/22/21 for lunch. It was a quiet Sunday morning and we were seated immediately. *No brunch currently offered and... breakfast ends at 10:00* Staff was courteous and gave us a choice of inside or outside dining. We chose inside to escape theheat and were given a lovely table by the window with a River Walk view. Restaurant was immaculate. Table linens were fresh andcrisp. Our waiter was professional and took our order correctly. Food did not take long to prepare and was tasty. Highlyrecommend! Read more
