Went to this spot because a couple folks in our group wanted oysters on the half-shell. They also discovered the oysters... shooters. Restaurant on the river walk, beautiful views for sure. Amazing lighting. Drinks took 35 minutes while the food took 1 hour to... start coming out, we were not given cutlery, orders were missing. Mother's Day lunch/brunch would be busy so I made reservations @onthebendsa. Dad loves oysters so we thought to try it out. My... husband and I initially had the Raspberry Mojito but it tasted like Raspberry soda. We switched to Mango Jalapeno Margarita andRaspberry Mule which were so much better. The East Coast Oysters were good when they finally came. It took 45 minutes. We wantedto try the mango ceviche and wagyu shortribs but neither were being served. RACIST MANAGEMENT. I arrived with a coworker (white, male) on 3/30/22 around 11pm. Plenty of seating and ordered with a very... nice waitress just a few minutes after being sat down. After 10 minutes of waiting the waitress told me I would not be servedand that I would have to leave not indicating anything to the coworker I was with. When I asked why she stated it was due to notpaying at their sister bar ?Mad Dog? Having the receipts I told her that?s not a problem this was just a simple miscommunicationand please get the manager so we can sort things out. The manager, a mid 30?s white woman approached the table and told me thatI would have to leave or police would be called. I asked her why and she restated it was due to not paying for my tab at theirsister bar. I told her it was a miscommunication and took both receipts out I had along with showing the charges made to my cardfrom ?mad dog pub? She grabbed both threw them on the floor and said ?I don?t care, honestly, we?re not serving you here? Whenmy coworker asked if he was being asked to leave as well she said no he can stay. The only two redeeming qualities about this place was the server and the location. My vegetables came out still frozen, my beef... way too salty, and my mashed potatoes were so runny that when the food was set down half of them ran off the plate. My wife?ssalmon had good flavor but was raw in the center. Her rice had weird large inconsistent chunks of hamburger patty spreadthroughout and was not all cooked. Margarita pizza was overdone with the balsamic to the extreme that the only thing you tasteis balsamic. Our main server was super polite and apologetic.
