My buddy and I had a great dining experience at Luxor Mediterranean at the RIM. I had the lamb shank with yellow rice which was... juicy and delicious. My buddy had some fire grilled lamb and chicken with white rice. He said his smashed lentil soup was goodtoo. We shared a tasty potato side dish and a starter bread with olive oil and cheese. Excellent ambiance and service. Greeted with a smile and prompt service. The restrooms were clean and the food fresh and... delicious ????. Food perfect and fresh on a Saturday evening. Perfect prime location at popular area of the Rim area in North San Antonio.... Restaurant is beautiful. Waitstaff was tremendously slow and never refilled our drinks even waiting over 20 minutes before hetook our order. Will not return. Read more

Delicious food! The portion sizes are substantial. I spent $20 which is a bit more than I would want to spend on lunch, but... enjoyed everything and will probably not need dinner. The presentation of the food was meticulous. The server was pleasant andpatient. Definitely recommend. Read more

By the time I was 12, I had lived on three continents. I was born in Lagos, Nigeria. I love to eat and I enjoy travel. More... importantly, I am deaf. This means my other senses are extremely heightened. Then there is also my service dog Sophie-Helene.She has such a good nose. Together, we have seen the world and know what is good and bad. I have found the best hummus in theworld at Luxor Mediterranean Cuisine at The Rim in San Antonio, Texas. I have also found the best rice pudding also at Luxor! Mywhole body came alive when I tasted the smooth, elegant and refined hummus. It was not overly salted and neither was it storedand not fresh. It was rich warm and oily. Very delicious. The rice pudding has pistachios and coconut. There are so many healthbenefits in eating this. Again, it was not overly sweet that you would become diabetic after your meal. The wonderful texturesand aromas of warm rice pudding was good enough for me to have a good nights sleep. Read more
