Originally my wife wanted to come here. Once we got our meal I couldn?t wait to eat. The nachos were covered with toppings.... Could barely see the chips. This is how nachos should be made. My daughters got burritos and I was amazed to see real meal sizedburritos. The food tasted great. The young lady who was our hostess and waitress did a magnificent job. Read more

Food is decent but they tip themselves on your card, my box always looks like this cause of the heat from the food, and the food... takes forever to make in drive thru. 3/10 wouldn?t recommend this location. I ordered the shredded chicken cilantro and oniontacos and this is what I got.. the tortillas taste fake and clearly this isn?t shredded chicken. Also, I can?t see an onions.Other locations like the one off Bitters and 281 are 10/10 for food and service. Read more

Awesome experience. Saw the sign for under new management. I had never been here before so I thought I'd check it out after... work. Hands down. Great food quality and service. Best salsa Verde I've ever had. Right amount of heat and flavor. The taco dealwas bigger than expected. So the rice and beans were not needed but definitely worth consuming and feeling stuffed. Fantasticbang for buck. Will go here again and again. Read more

I had the chile relleno burrito and it was absolutely everything I hoped for! It literally tasted like someone's abuelita made... chile rellenos from scratch and wrapped it up in a giant, homemade tortilla. It was so huge that, along with the awesome asadafries, it was enough for 2 meals. Will definitely be back! Read more

I had breakfast here for the first time today, and it was delicious! It was honestly the best breakfast I've had in a long time.... I ordered the Huevos Rancheros with ham.The portion was large and filling. It was served with potatoes and tortillas. I didn'tlove the coffee, but (atleast for right now) tea or coffee are complementary with the meal for dine-in orders only, so my meal(before the tip) was under $10. And I can't forget the best part. They have a salsa bar stocked with really tasty homemadesalsa! Read more

We were hungry before dinner so we decided to give this place a try. Clean and attentive service. The best dish was the chimi... (pictured) as it was super tasty and not skimpy on the filling. The Machaca plate, which I've never had before was different inthe sense that it wasn't a combo I usually see on a menu. Meat, green peppers & egg and lacking seasoning, so the peppers wereoverbearing on the taste. Everyone at our table enjoyed the food!!! We'll be trying a location closer to our home. Read more

It is my first visit to Los Balito?s Taco Shop on Nacogdoches Rd. I stop in at the drive thru and order a Beef Fajita Burrito. I... am greeted at the window by a dapper gent with an amazing mustache, pay $10 and change, wait a bit and am then handed my bag offood. I arrive back at work and dump the contents out onto my desk and find the burrito, a plastic fork, and one each red andgreen salsa. I unwrap the burrito and my mouth starts to salivate at the sight of the toasted hand-made tortilla. I unfold theburrito to apply the red salsa and find glistening grilled beef fajita, green bell peppers and onions, avocado, and some gooeycheese. I fold it back up and tear into it. The tortilla is warm, toasted and soft but perfectly up to the task of keeping theburrito together. The generous slices of bell pepper and onions caramelized on the grill add the perfect counter to the tenderbeef. The spice from the salsa, the creaminess of the avocado and melty cheese round out each bite. It doesn?t last very long.It is too delicious and I am very hungry. Dang. Can?t wait to go back. Read more
