Staff member at the register had ear phones on and was on her phone the majority of the time. Never provided a greeting or asked... us if we were ready to order. She didn't hear my wife asked for tater tots, probably the music she was listening to didn't allowher to hear. Fried mushrooms smelled like they were cooked in very old fry oil. My hamburger burger buns were burnt and made myburger taste awful. Definitely not worth the $60 we paid. Read more

I love going to longhorn for classic cafe-type food, especially burgers. I usually pick up to go, but I decided to dine in for... the first time and was not disappointed. We were starving so we ordered fried pickles as an appetizer ahead of the meal and Ikind of wish we hadn?t because it ended up being so much food. The burger was massive so I ended up eating only one onion ringand maybe 3 fries. I would only recommend an app if there are more than 2 people in your party. I knocked one star off becausesometimes the food is on the salty side. This time around it was the fried pickles and the bacon, but there?s usually at leastone item that has too much salt. Read more
Great burgers. Priced at below most fast food places, which this is NOT fast food. The burgers are a 2 handed affair and cooked... perfectly. Clean restaurant and bathrooms. Will return here everytime I'm in town during lunch, for sure. Read more
I have visited Longhorn Café a couple times now, following recommendations from friends. Chicken sandwich is the best I have... EVER tasted. I don't think I have ever had a chicken sandwich that just melted in my mouth. Fries are crispy and fresh withjust the right amount of seasoning. Onion rings are like crack! It is something about that batter. Chicken tenders were sotender my little girl ate them all up with zero complaints and the mac n cheese... addictive! Second visit I ordered a grilledchicken salad. The portion was perfect and food fresh, chicken was perfectly grilled. They have quite a variety of dressingsto offer to. Service was second to none, although I may criticize the eagerness to clear the table while still eating. Staffmember who took my order was super friendly, and patient! Literally the best burger I?ve ever had. I?ve had some burgers before. This is it! This is honestly one of the best burger... places you can hit up. Not too overpriced either. It was juicy and a bit crispy. No chewy gristle or fat, just an easy to chewsalty dream. Bun was toasted but still soft and the vegetables were crisp and delicious. We weren't sure what to expect. My friend heard about this place from someone else. The mushrooms were fantastic. Good spicing.... Light batter. Warning- super hot. Super good. My friend said they needed salt but my friend would salt a salt lick. Thick gravyto bathe them in was also good. My friend said their burger was great. They didnt say anything about their fries. I had thestuffed chop steak with mashed potatoes and onion rings. That " beef patty" was stuffed with cheese and jalapeños, yum. Buriedin grilled onions added another layer if flavor. Ill be back for that alone. Mashed potatoes tasted like homemade, also drizzledwith gravy. Onion rings were also lightly battered and delish. Longhorn Cafe- one. Hunger - zero! UPDATE- 2nd visit confirmedthe first visit. Great service. Great food! I tried their claim to fame BIG JUICY burger combo. It was big. It was juicy. I alsorealized, I missed this before, you can up charge to have it on sourdough or jalapeño sourdough. Do it. Just make sure to askthem to toast it.
